I’m staring at Nikolai Chekhov’s portrait of his brother Anton and wondering why he looks so sad. This Spanish edition of “Five Short Novels” (Novellas? Stories?) is my first attempt at reading this Russian master. Perhaps I will get to understand all that melancholy? . . For a book written in 1879 this exceeded any kind of hope or thoughts I had about it. I wasn't planning on doing anything for Easter simce I didnt buy any decorations this year. 🥚🐰🐣🎉 But as I was flipping trough my letter C dictionary (one I got from my university for free) I saw a few cool photos. 📖 Like one where they talk about Gulliver's Travels. 🚶🏻‍♂️😀 And me having recently purchased the book I thought it would be cool if I took a photo of the two together. 😚😍 Then I found more cute photos.
