Real adhd is when you wake up really needing to pee but then get distracted and forget about it until you remember 4 hours later and all the sudden you realize that’s why you’ve been feeling weird the whole day.
I know this is like ultra shitty
But does anyone else get angry or jealous when other people with adhd and all that are just
Successful?
Like they have friends, they get their work done on time, they're actually confident and likeable and funny
And then I end up thinking they're lying which is even shittier, because I know I'm an absolutely terrible sham of a person so why do other people get to have this shit and be happy
Everything just sucks
Tell me this is not the truth tho....
Some teachers should takes notes from what I’m about to say
One of my teachers last year noticed that I had trouble focusing in class, so he asked if I by any chance have ADHD. I obviously said “no” because I never thought about it.
A few months later I got help for my social anxiety and my therapist brought ADHD up. I told her that my teacher asked me the same. Now I’m in the process of getting diagnosed either with ADHD or something else.
So I told my teacher last week. Today he asked me if I had any results yet. He was actually interested. He even helped me get through the class and after class asked me how I’m doing.
More teachers should do this. If more teachers ask students if they have any mental disorders/illnesses they can help during or after class. It would help a lot of students. I’m very grateful to have a teacher like this. He isn’t my mentor but in a way it feels like he is just because he actually cares.
I hate myself.
So I am trying that neurofeedback stuff for my ADHD. My new therapist who is doing it told me if I feel my mind slip away I should close my eyes for a few seconds and like look at the things we are doing in therapy. Like lady I really want to get rid of that shit don’t get me wrong but I got aphantasia so you gotta step up your game
ADHD Brain: i will play this one part of a song on repeat if you don't play any music.
Autism Brain: if I hear one more sound I will die
Tinitus: if there is no music, you'll just have to hear this obnoxious ringing noise the whole time
Autism Brain: I. Will. Die.
