- there isn’t a single person on this earth or any other who’s eyes aren’t gorgeous when the sun hits them
- sitting on rooftops and singing to the stars
- lying in bed with your window open listening to the rain
- driving out to the desert in arizona and screaming as loud as you possibly can
- walking through the woods and telling the trees your secrets
- leaning out the window of a studio apartment in chicago and letting the wind toss your hair around
- reuniting with people you haven’t seen in years but still love all the same
- drinking water out of raspberries like they’re tiny little cups
- laughing and crying at the same time
- looking in the mirror in the summer and seeing more and more freckles every day
- playing guitar for someone you love, and knowing that they’ll still smile and clap no matter how many times you mess up
- the breeze making your dress ripple like you’re in a movie
- running barefoot through the streets, laughing and hollering
- feeling the weight of a small animal sleeping on your chest
- listening to a sad song and crying, and being happy that you’re sad because you had forgotten what it felt like to let go
- finding a stream while out exploring
- the simple and yet complicated delicateness of a frog
- holding a leaf up to the sun and seeing all the tiny veins that carry water to keep it alive
- rainy days, and choosing to stay in and feel cozy or go out and feel free
- the way cats close their eyes when you pet their heads
- feeling loved (and trust me, someday you will)
- knowing that maybe not everything, but at least some things, are eventually going to be all right
