And when it says "When she calls for me, I'll go" it's Barty saying that when Evan, whom he's been hallucinating as he slowly descends into madness, calls for him to come into the water. To join him so they can be together again. Usually, Regulus is there to stop him. But now, Regulus has been missing for two days, ever since he went to that stupid cave, and here the love of his life comes, beckoning Barty into the water once more.

"I do see him as a threat, though I wish that possibility could be dismissed entirely and this whole thing done with," Camhlaidh admitted. He did not want to feel as if he needed to keep looking over his shoulder regarding Sivel. Right now, the only assurances that he had regarding their tenuous relationship was that he was fairly certain the other king would make no moves against Seelie first, while he remained Iomhar's lover, and second, if there was no gain to him nor threat to his people.

It was a hand he had relied too heavily on, Iomhar's relationship with him especially, but what else was he to do?
