As I share this final episode (link in profile) of my podcast I’m actually in the hospital with my son going on day #5. Not sharing for anyone to feel sorry for us but take whatever serves you from our story.   - - - - - Although he has Sickle Cell(September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month) He has other chronic illnesses, that falls under Neurology, Nephrology, and Cardiology and any one of these illnesses can bring him to the hospital. Sometimes they can figure out what’s going sooner than later and other times they can’t right away, so we go through trial and error. Nevertheless, it’s an unpredictable life we live and there are many times I feel alone in this space, even though I know we are loved and supported by our family and friends, there are certain parts of the walk you do alone even if you don’t want to. We do our best to enjoy days out of the hospital and work through the moments when we are here.  - - - - - I felt good talking to my guest @mahoganywaymama on this episode, it’s never the exact journey but along the way, I know I’ll see her across the road from me because of the similarities in our story.
