I fee so much better now that it's all been removed. And just little twinches when removing the staples. And I had two rather bouncy enthusiastic student nurses ask if they could watch and have a go at removing a few of them. On the way to York Hospital to finally get these damn dressings off. It should of come off 12 days after surgery, it's been 20 days and it's only coming off today because we booked an appt with the A&E GP. rather than wait another week for an appt to come through the post. Today was my first day of #physiotherapy My task, to bend my leg 30 degrees. It may not seem much (and I did ask the physio if he had a can of WD-40) but this is major progress to me. I can't get it all the way just yet, there's some slight give with the brace, but I'm getting there, and that's good enough for me. #postsurgery #recoveryfromsurgery #healing

So the pink lines show the depressions and swelling that my leg brace gives me. Understandable I guess as I can only take the brace off for an hour a day. I have a love hate relationship with this thing. Roll on Monday which will be the first of my physio. Hopefully they'll have an idea to prevent this, cause sometimes it can be damn uncomfortable. #recoveryfromsurgery #postsurgery #healing #badleg
