Day 72: Today’s mileage was split into a short treadmill session followed by an afternoon walk. Walking still counts towards my goal and is a great way to actively recover. ?? days until race day: today it’s been 111 days of training and it would have been only 76 days left until race day. Of course things are not the same anymore. After giving it some thought, I’m going to start dialing things back a little and start relaxing more. I’ll keep training but I’m giving myself time to distract from the actual Ironman schedule.
