New friend Rudy

In addition to his furry friends, he lives with an aquatic frog named Sam, who does not photograph well in his aquarium across the room. It was awesome to see Rudy on his “dock”, getting some “sun”. He did pull his head and feet into his shell when I first came in, but he quickly poked his nose back out.

20 minutes of your life that you can never reclaim. My beautiful wives enjoy the attention and they are always happy to talk to us about anything..... can you blame them? how boring this tank must get when we aren't around to entertain them.

I talk too long about things people with no turtles don't want to hear. I love my girls dearly when I totally didn't expect to. I hope it shows.

we discuss turtle business. Because turtle business is everybody's business. get involved today. love a turtle. but please, please, please leave the turtles in the wild where they belong. once you take a turtle you can never put them back. every year turtles everywhere are half heartedly taken as pets only to be abandoned in unfriendly waters or into waterways that have no natural defense against invasive species. if you take a turtle you better damn well mean it. they have a longer life span than you do, your new little quarter sized pet will more than likely outlive you AND will not remain quarter sized forever. look it up you may be lucky enough to have chosen a three foot round grown assed dinosaur that needs 47,000 metric liters of water at minimum to live in. you too might be one of the lucky ones like me who has a Volkswagen sized tank in the living room. but if you are anything like me you will fall in love with them and learn to do all the little things they need because now you have friends who are dinosaurs! how cool is that?!?
