"I am so fucking exhausted." Callum chuckled and looked at the person he was hanging out with and smiled at them. "Thank you for hanging out with me today though, this has been my first day off in a really long time and I needed some acutal non batshit crazy human interactions." @rededgerpstarterblog

Backstory
Raised in Red Edge, California, she learned early that the law doesn’t protect everyone—only those who know how to use it.
New York hardened her. Long nights, ruthless firms, and zero patience for weakness turned her sharp, controlled, and unflinching. Now at Grant’s Law Firm, she’s known for taking the cases within the Family area. Some that seem impossible and some that needed a lot of work, but she wins them without theatrics. She doesn’t bluff, she doesn’t threaten—she dismantles. Calm, precise, and unsettlingly prepared.
Grant's Law Firm was just her start, but now she was ready to take on her own. Once she finishes her last case, her own firm would be open just in time and based in Red Edge.
NOW
Now she was back in Red Edge, and the familiarity pressed in on her from all sides. The streets remembered her. The houses stood like witnesses. Even the people looked at her a second too long, as if they knew exactly where she’d been—and why she’d left.
She said the case brought her home. A client who needed her. A month and a half before the final court date. That was the version she let circulate, the clean explanation that kept anyone from asking harder questions.
But Red Edge wasn’t fooled. It carried what she’d done in its quiet corners and dim-lit rooms, in the spaces no one talked about anymore. She’d left once believing distance could turn memory into something harmless. It hadn’t.
Staying felt less like a choice and more like a reckoning. If she left again, it would still be waiting. Here, at least, she could face it.
Okay! So I’m pretty sure I’m keeping TEDDY & MILA same everything. If anyone wants to still have a connection with them, please inbox me.
As for IVY & LANA, they are currently in progress and might change FC’s and/or bio’s. But still let me know if you want to keep something with them or create something new. I can make it all work and down for anything that ties into your secrets for these two.
Backstory
Ivy Fitzgerald published her first article at 2:17 a.m, Monday July 23, 2022.
Ivy is a journalist from Stowe, Vermont with a sharp eye for detail and a quiet, observant nature. She relocated to Red Edge, California, taking a reporting job that promised new opportunities and a change of pace. Officially, the move was about being closer to her half-sister—close enough to finally build a real relationship without miles and missed calls in the way.
Unofficially, Red Edge was an escape.
Back in Vermont, Ivy carried a weight she never talked about—lingering guilt tied to choices she couldn’t undo, and a growing sense that the place she once called home no longer felt safe. Rather than confront it head-on, she chose distance. A new town meant fewer memories, fewer questions, and the chance to breathe again.
In Red Edge, Ivy starts over from scratch: a modest apartment, an unfamiliar newsroom, and streets filled with strangers who don’t know her past. She throws herself into her work, believing that truth-seeking can be a kind of redemption. Yet beneath her professional calm is a woman hoping that reinvention is possible—and that by getting closer to her sister, she might finally find a version of family, and herself, that feels whole.
Ivy tells herself this is a fresh start.
But some shadows don’t stay behind—they relocate.
