I hate this guy (joke), Which Sans Next?

Got so frustrated trying to draw him that I literally gave him a redesign...

No one has to like this design nor use it, though this is how I'll be drawing him.

I have no issues with nightmare or anything besides the fact that when corrupted he wears Sans' clothes. And regardless if that has a reasoning I felt it doesn't make sense. SO I gave him this instead.

The reasoning for mine being: Him and his brother, sort of got this like semi royal thing going on (I know they're protectors, not necessarily royal) and so I sort of kept that going with a fancy "king" look. The muddy gold was to keep the focus on his face while also leaning into this corruption aspect.

And his pendant/broach thing is supposed to represent a Solar eclipse. Dream is associated with stars (and the sun but stars are also suns, just far away), Nightmare is associated with the moon. So what better way to show off Nightmares goals than a symbol of the moon covering the sun. The wavey gold can be simplified, but I also imagine it actually moves around like it's liquid.

We of course have a golden apple being corrupted on his pants, this could be removed for animations and stuff as it could be difficult to draw.

And then at last the cape is an homage to the classic Sans hoodie.

I do realise I made him look very dramatic, and that is because I do like a dramatic villain but I can understand if that makes people not vibe with this design. There's nothing wrong with disliking this design or loving the normal one, I just personally prefer this over the hoodie.

Of course if you were to take inspo from my design but making your own, you're completely free to! In fact I encourage it! As long as you give credit where it's due (for inspo you'd only have to give credit when showing off your design, if you're using my design you credit every time)

Btw, eyes and head shape are not part of the design change, that's just personal stylistic choices.

Surprise! Mimzy (kinda) Redesign!

So I was planning for my next redesign to be The Vees but... I wanted to make some doodles that require her so...

Reasons/Details:

I tried to make her demon form more cartoony but...Like the reason I do these things in the first place is because I'm not good at very cartoony designs... I basically think her demon form being chicken-inspired is...Neat. But I think it be more fun if the cartoon-ness of her design WAS the punishment. She became as simplified and as two-dimensional as how most people perceived her. Plus, cartoons aren't taken seriously, she's not taken seriously, etc.

I DO think her full demon form SHOULD be bird-related though but not sure how it would look like yet (Probably a little less hen and more songbird mixed with harpy/siren or something). So to hint at that I tried to add more feathers and kinda hope the rolled down stocking kind give (atleast in the silhouette a sort of bird legs thing but not sure if it came out right in the end.

Why does Mimzy have fangs? I could try to come up with a very long (and fake) reason like it's to hint that she too is dangerous despite her cartoony appearance or how it hints that she mooches off of Alastor or something, but in reality...I just dislike drawing teeth and sharp teeth are fun.

I wanted her human design to look more unique and not just another flapper outfit so I gave her a more daily look (It's still of course extravagant since it's Mimzy and she does seem to be kinda rich/famous when alive).

Painted knees: It was a very short-lived trend in the 20s but a very cute one so I can imagine Mimzy still doing it in the 20s.

GLOVES ARE A LIE. OK SO I HAVE TO GO ON A TIRADE: "FLAPPER GIRLS WEAR LONG GLOVES"- LIES!! I DID SO MUCH RESEARCH AND IT'S LIKE THIS WEIRD LIE EVERYONE BELIEVES. THE WHOLE POINT OF FLAPPER GIRL FASHION WAS SHOWING MORE SKIN! MOST DIDN'T WEAR OVERLY FORMAL (CONSIDERED OUTDATED/CONSERVATIVE FASHION FOR THE ERA) LONG GLOVES. IF THEY WORE GLOVES IT BE SHORT ONES (THE WRIST ONES YOU KNOW ABOUT). BUT GODDAMN PARTY CITY AND GREAT GATSBY MADE US ALL BELIEVE IN A LIE... Anyways I mention this because as a history nerd it irked me a wee bit :) [For reference: I'm the type of person that will go one a long ramble about how dinosaurs having feathers are an important detail that shouldn't be ignored in paleoart]

Anyways, I only decided to share the design in case I decide to post a certain thing I'm working on right now on here.
