Just letting you all know that I am indeed still alive. Between school and work I'm past full-time, but I promise I'm still working on things here! The naming system will be getting an update soon, and I'm working on another short story.

I've wanted to talk about it for years! Well, not really but- basically! This is an AU where Redtail doesn't die at Sunningrocks. Ravenpaw warns him as Tigerclaw attacks Redtail- and while they're fighting, Lionheart arrives to chase Tigerclaw off. So Tigerclaw is unofficially exiled very early and Redtail is still alive and the deputy of ThunderClan.
Also, in this AU, Redtail is trans and the mate to Runningwind (because I just... Love that headcanon do much). Together, they're the fathers of Sandstorm and Dustpelt. Why add Dustpelt as a sibling? Because when I first read the books and didn't know the family trees, I thought that Dustpaw and Sandpaw had been siblings, lmao. Also it automatically deletes the weird crush Dustpaw had in her.
After the incident at Sunningrocks tho, Ravenpaw decides that being a warrior just isn't for him, and insteads becomes Spottedleaf's apprentice!
Then Rusty comes in later than he does in the main story. That is because while in exil, Tigerclaw began to move his plans faster. For example, he gets BloodClan on his side (he found out about them during his exil instead of ShadowClan telling him) which leads him to finding the dogs and helps them escape so they can hide in Snakerocks. Rusty comes in around the time the dogs are at Snakerocks. He still fights Longtail and gets named Firepaw, but in this AU, Bluestar gives him Longtail as a mentor (don't worry Longtail is a mentor who tries and they end up growing really close)
And I could go on because I have... So much stuff planned out for it but I need to get ready for work!
