Okay so, remember how I said the reef manta ray was my favourite of the watercolour commission... I lied. This is number four in the series, a Grey reef shark, but for me he is Number One. I just love how he turned out, somehow really giving me that "old kids book about animals" vibe. Also, these sharks are beautiful with that subtle grey-white colour palette accentuated by deep black fin tips.

All paintings for this commission are finished btw and it's right on through with the next! Currently on the table are some new illustrations for an old client of mine which I'm really excited about because A) it's whales and B) this client is one of the loveliest I have.
