hi! saw your reblog on cecil’s post about pens! wanted to say i also have a few twsbi’s so i’m familiar with the piston filling system, however i have never run into the issue you described! when the pen is done being filled the piston/back of the pen should be all the way screwed shut, and you shouldn’t have to twist it to make more ink come out of the nib (or touch it at all actually!). could it be that you’re using a very dry ink or not filling with enough ink?

I should draw the ink allllll the way up until the 'screw top' is 'stopped' (which I have been doing) and then NOT fiddle with it at all again until the chamber is empty?! (which I have NOT been doing) and the ink will flow out even though there's a 'vacuum'? There will be an obvious empty ink chamber left behind as the volume drops? 🙄😳

Huh. I'm gonna try this! I will report back.
