Cold brew coffee is a smooth and refreshing way to enjoy coffee, especially on hot days. It's less acidic than traditional hot-brewed coffee and has a naturally sweet flavor. This recipe allows you to make your own cold brew coffee at home, and you can customize it with your favorite add-ins.
Ingredients: 1 cup coarsely ground coffee beans. 4 cups cold water. Ice cubes optional. Milk or cream optional. Sweetener of your choice optional.
Instructions: In a large jar or pitcher, mix the coarsely ground coffee beans with cold water. Make sure to mix the coffee grounds well so that they are all fully saturated with water. In the fridge for at least 12 hours or overnight, cover the jar or pitcher. Put the cold brew coffee through a fine-mesh sieve or a coffee filter into a different jar or pitcher after it has steeped. This will get rid of the coffee grounds. If you want, you can put the cold brew coffee on top of ice cubes. You can make your coffee creamy and sweet by adding milk or cream and sugar to taste. Enjoy the cold brew coffee you made yourself!
