Pretty nice.

Dani is very pretty and I love her big hair.

I’ve only ever seen collective man as an antagonist so it’s nice to see him so normal

And I can see why everyone was so scared of him in usavengers

so something occurred to me while re-reading x-force. so, Dani was undercover in the MLF because Reignfire saved her when she fell, right?

And because she cared for Berto, and at this time we all thought he was some alt version of Berto.

So does anyone else remember that time Dani time travelled into an alt future where Berto was a mutant supremacist basically? Do you think she remembered that when she saw what Reignfire was trying to do? Do you think she was trying to prevent that future from coming to pass, and that’s why she stayed for so long?

Do you think she was trying to save her best friend from himself, and the world from becoming a dystopia? Do you think Dani stayed awake at night, attempting to reassure herself that it would be different. it won’t happen. i won’t let it?

Do you think she whispered it to herself, staring at who she had become, hating the way she had changed? Was it her one thread of hope while she was there, and she would cling onto it because Berto was her best friend, and she would not abandon him too?

Do you think she could feel him dragging her down to his level as she attempted to pull him up? Do you think she looked at herself and hated who Reignfire had turned her into? But she couldn’t leave because that was her best friend — her family — and she wouldn’t abandon him, even to her own detriment?

3Peace, the anti-government faction, Thought Reignfire was on their side, only for him to instead turn them in to the government faction, because the government can offer them much more than a little rebel group ever could... 3Peace calls out to Danni to assist because they know she is on their side, but if she makes her move here she is as lost as they are... but she is positive this is Reign testing her... and there is some key things in her internal dialogue there but ill cover it more in the next post.
