After Torans showed initial interest in Maro, being oddly loyal and close to him. He began to mimic the reciprocations, not out of love, but just curiosity. Though with how direct she was to Maro it confused him, on why she was like that to him. Only him. And his curiosity drew him in so he would follow her around the castle but not invasivly. And Torans got this confused with him having a crush/feelings on her, and he said they could date but he did not have the love Torans had for him, he wanted answers. Yet she could not see this, she was blinded by her duty and feelings to Maro.
