If you’re ever having A Time Of It And Have Had Enough, I highly recommend watching Steve Marsh’s travel videos on YouTube.
This lovely Scotsman explores not only Scotland, but also nearby countries and islands, via plane and train and bus and ferry, and quite often on foot, with easygoing curiosity, humor, and wonder.
His videos are full of long, indulgent segments in which the camera lingers on a scene and lets you enjoy it — no quick cuts here, and no Insta-TikTok-Etc effects — and he tries to include ambient sounds wherever possible to give a feeling of place.
He has a Patreon, so his newer videos don’t have commercials, and even the older ones that do aren’t crazy with ads.

Travel. As It Is. See video descriptions for more information and FAQs. How can I support the channel? Watching my videos is of course sup
Anyway, if you need something new to watch, I highly recommend.
Get your comfort blanket, settle in somewhere warm, and start watching the video of your choice.
