Exploring downtown L.A. tomorrow. Hope this can get me out of this slump. Seeing Fairfax and Melrose Ave. Visiting Supreme and OF Store and the Juice Pop Up Store. Take some photos, learn to enjoy time with myself.

Resilience is the ability of a material to absorb energy when it is deformed elastically, and release that energy upon unloading. The modulus of resilience is defined as the maximum energy that can be absorbed per unit volume without creating a permanent distortion. It can be calculated by integrating the stress-strain curve from zero to the elastic limit.

Life may feel trashy, but one needs classy to justify the (shit) hardship one goes through in life. Status (and the strife required to gain status) seems to simultaneously justify and celebrate all conditions of life. It rewards as it causes. The true way to celebrate life is to accept the conditions of life and perpetuate them with faith. Facing and accepting what life has in store. That is the conditions of life being strife and ultimate death. Knowing that everything to gain is gained in this life, accepting life completely on its own terms. In the awareness of this one chooses to live fully and celebrate one's individual ability and inevitable destiny fearlessly and successfully for as long as life lasts. A kind of pessimism of the strong, to be able to accept it and fearlessly strive to live ever fuller for as long as life lasts. The observation by others of your excellence raises you to status and renown and the fame of the life you lived lives on in the memory and honours paid by those who continue to live.
Since there is no escape from the condiitons, one chooses to impose one's own presence. As only in this way does strife be given value, meaning, and respect. All art in its highest quality, and magnificent material objects, also celebrate this, as without strife these things would not have been wrought. The Western aim in its high civilizations has been that it accepts the fate of conditions and wishes to announce its presence of its environment as broad and for as long as possible. The conditions of life don't change, it is the same for me as for you. Same in my finest days as in my my harshest. Same for you as some other land, some for me as some poorer or wealthier man, same for me today as in years before as in years to come. It never ends. Every day I think what now? How may I boast of my self now. how may I do honour to my talent and ability today? How may I impress myself today?
"Every living thing must continually seek for the enlargement of its life, because life, in the mere act of living must increase itself." Wallace D. Wattles
One cannot be free of the conditions. The nature of things are the same for everyone. To understand that, accept it, holding a private perspective of bravery, toughness, and a private ambition, a "pessimism of the strong". They who can look right at the conditions of life, accept it, and still experience its joys. Because strength is what is neccessary for such a perspective.
