Here are the next six entries into the QCS set! (Surprise!)
Truth be told, made these suckers a little while ago, but I gave 'em a once over and polished them a bit, then figured I'd share them with you all here!
Halo: Reach was not my first halo game (shoutout to Halo 3), but it did leave the greatest impact on me. I'll never forget Jorge taking his helmet off, picking up my character, and tossing me back to the planet with a line that will forever stick in my head.
It's not a complex story, hell they spoil how the game ends from the intro cutscene, but I'd never really had a game series that made me feel for the deaths of my comrades like Reach did. It had some fantastic character work for a game that, in truth, wasn't very long. In Reach, every victory is half-hearted, every defeat is crushing, and every death is something you carry with you until the end of the game. Not to mention the score, either, I am haunted by tracks like "Epilogue", "Ashes" and "Ghosts and Glass", if you listen carefully, you can hear their leitmotifs just about everywhere in the soundtrack itself.
Unfortunately, if you've played the game, you know that there's nothing we can do to save Reach, save it's people, save our people. There is something we can do, however;

It is one of the most beautiful stories I've ever had the joy of experiencing.
