I went downstairs to heat up some of your favorite canned soup. I thought back to that night we made soup and fell asleep without speaking to each other. How we let bitterness take root inside of our bodies, allowed it to anchor itself so deep within that it grew from our flesh and seeped down into our sides of the bed. Making us perfect statues with our backs facing each other, creating an ocean of sheets between us. I made your favorite soup today and cried at the thought that I might never get to eat it again with you. That we might not ever go back to being normal. There is a version of us that never ceases to exist inside of my mind. The version where you and I are full of endless goofy laughter, where we speak honestly and unfiltered; even the difficult words we’d rather choke down. There is a version of us that exists in my mind as if we never stopped existing beside each other at all. Whatever dimension this one is, I chose wrong. I know there is another time and space where you and I are together, where things are meant to be the way they’re supposed to be. All I know is that without you around, nothing feels right and it hasn’t since you left.

As a little kid growing up I’d always wondered why I found myself so intrigued by women. On screen as well, the women were... well nothing less than heart-eyes, intrigue, badass and in awe of all rolled into one worthy.

Guess looking back now... a lot of stuff makes sense. Just took a little while to break out/free and accept that I am here and queer! A Lesbian and proud 🌈💛

Rosalina: (Happily Sitting next to Ryu) Are you enjoying yourself this event, Ryu?

Ryu: (Smiles Softly while Nodding) I would say so, Rosalina.

Rosalina: I'm glad. You know... I'm a bit surprised that you enjoy star gazing as much as I do....(Starts Blushing a little) Although.... I'm really grateful for the company...

Ryu: Me too....These stars.... they're truly breathtaking, are they?

Rosalina: Yes. They truly are.

Ryu: (Starts Blushing Himself) Yes....and while breathtaking each of them are, I.... strongly think that you outshine them by far...

Rosalina: (Starts Blushing a lot more) O-Oh....Y-You really think so?

Ryu: Absolutely.

Rosalina: O-Oh my.....Y-You flattered me ever so, dear...(Ohmygosh Ohmygosh Ohmygosh OHMYGOSH!!!!!)

Ryu: (Chuckles Lightly at how Adorable his girlfriend is being right now) Well it's the truth. You're very beautiful to me. Inside and out.

Rosalina: Oh, Ryu....(Happily Rest her head on Ryu's arm) You're beautiful to me too...

Ryu: (A Thought came into his head) ....You know, a thought about something for a while now.

Rosalina: Oh? And what is it that you were thinking about, if you don't mind me asking.

Ryu: It's.... mostly about my past...my childhood even. You see, when I was a child, I met this very mysterious girl...who reminded me a lot like you too. With her blonde hair and everything.

Rosalina: (Immediately Starting to Figure out what Ryu was talking about) ..........

Ryu: We spent a lot of time together those days.... until one day.... I've never seen or heard from her again. I've ask my master about her disappearance, but even he doesn't knows. I would wonder where that girl could be sometimes and....hope that wherever she is... she would be safe.

Rosalina: Ryu.

Ryu: (Turns to Rosalina) Hm?

Rosalina: There's something I need to tell you.

Ryu: (A bit Confused) What is it?

Rosalina: The girl you were talking about just now....the one who was your childhood friend at the time....(Looks towards the ground) That girl....was me.

Ryu: (Eyes Being to Widened) I-Is this true?

Rosalina: (Slowly Nodded) I remembered spending time with you after your training with Mister Gouken was finished for the day. I cherished everyone of those moments as well.

Ryu: (That would explain the similar blonde hair...)

Rosalina: ('Sniff')

Ryu: Rosalina?

Rosalina: (Tears are coming from her eyes)..... I'm sorry.....

Ryu: (Starting to get very concerned once he sees Rosalina crying) Rosalina, w-what's the matter? And why are you apologising?

Rosalina: The day....('Sniff') that you said.....('Sniff') that you never saw me or even heard from me again.....('Sniff') a lot has happened during that time.....A-And yet.....I felt like....I abandoned you after all these years....we spent together......('Sniff') Ryu......so I'm so sorry-

Rosalina's tearful pleadings was immediately Interrupted by Ryu's heartwarming embrace.

Rosalina: R-Ryu?

Ryu: (Hugs Rosalina a little more tight) There's no need to apologise, my love. You were dealing with so much at the time of your youth, right? So that must've been the reason why you left, yes?

Rosalina: T-That's true...B-But-

Ryu: Then it's all the more reason why you shouldn't blame yourself like this, Rosalina. Things like this happen and I don't blame you for it in the slightest. And besides.......(Smiles Brightly) It honestly made me happy to see you again...even after all these years.

Rosalina: Oh Ryu!...(More Tears are flowing down her cheeks as she hugs Ryu) I'm.... I am so blessed that I've met someone like you in my life....

Ryu: I'm really glad I've met you too. You mean the world to me, Rosalina. And...I just want to be with you....for the rest of my life.

Rosalina: (Snuggling Close to Ryu with happiness and tears in her eyes) I love you.....I love you so much, my knight and shining armor...

Ryu: (Smiles Softly as he held Rosalina close to him) And I love you too, my beautiful princess. I'm so glad that you're the woman I fell in love with.

Rosalina: Me too.... I'm so happy to fell in love with a strong, kind hearted man like yourself too, my love~
