Mini Fanfic #1356: The Smash Kids Back Home (SSBU X Persona 5)
Few Days Earlier Outside of the Smash Mansion.......
Ann: (Seen Talking to Lucas Along with her Wife, Shiho) So are you absolutely sure you and the others will be okay in that mansion by yourselves?
Shiho: And that you're perfectly fine on not going to Hawaii along with us? It won't nearly be as complete without any of you guys in it.
Lucas: (Gives Two of his Big Sister Figures a Reassuring Smile on his Face) Yeah, but there's no need to any of you to worry. Us Smash Kids are really tough when push comes to stove.
Ashley: (Walks Over to the Sunflower Trio) And we're stronger when we fight together. (Happily Hugs her Boyfriend Next to Her) Or at least, I am when I'm with you, Lucas~
Lucas: (Giggles Softly While Hugging Ashley Back) Aww~ I'm stronger when I'm with you too, Ashley~
Shiho/Ann: (Starts Gushing Over the Younger Couple in Frint of Her and Ann) AWWWWWWW!~
Ann: God, I'm gonna miss seeing you two being cute together!~
Shiho: Same!~
Lucas: Thanks, girls~ (Starts Tearing Up Immensely) But it won't be as much as how I'll miss you two!!~
Ann: Oh honeyyy!!~ (Squats Down and Hugs Lucas Lovingly Alongside Shiho) The vacation won't be too long! We'll be back in a week and a half, promise!!~
Shiho: We'll find you kids the finest souvenirs we could find along the way- ('Sniff') You can count on it!!~
Lucas: You girls are so sweet!~ ('Sniff') We'll love anything you'll get us- ('Sniff') But all I want for you two-('Sniff') And everyone else participating in the trip, to have the best, most relaxing time Imaginable- ('Sniff') We'll watch over the mansion just fine, I promisheseee!~

Lucas bursts out crying as well as he gently pulls a slightly hesitant Ashley into the emotional group hug with him and the now married ladies, prompting her to smile and hug them shortly after.
After all of that has been said and done, everyone got inside two of the Smash Tour Buses and begins to wave goodbye to most of the Smash Kids staying behind.
Smash Family: GOODBYYEE!~/See you all again soon!/Stay out of trouble, ya hear!?/ We'll think of you all of you everyday!!~/WE LOVE YOU!!~
Peach: (Already in Tears) ('Sniff') Please be safe and healthy in there! Call me, the moms, dads, uncles, and/or anyone else if you need ANYTHING- ('Sniff') So long as it isn't anything illegal!~ ('Sniff') Oh gosh- I'll miss you all oh so much, it hurts!!~
Ness: (Gives the Princess Mom a Reassuring Smile on his Face Along with the Rest of the Kids) You don't have to worry, Momma Peach, we'll be fine!
Toon: We'll miss you all like crazy though!
Kirby: Poyo!!~
Peach: I can and will worry about you sweet little angels!~ ('Sniff') But I trust that you'll be fine on your own!~
Bus Driver: Next stop, the Airport and after that, Hawaii!!
Peach: ('Sniff') (Immediately Uses her Pink Hankercief to Wave Goodbye to her Babies) BYEEEEEEEEEE!!~
Smash Kids: (Starts Waving Goodbye to Everyone as They Watch the Two Buses Drives Off) Goodbyeeee!~/ Have a nice trip!~/ Bring us something cool back!!/Poyo Poyooooo!~
Ness: (Turns to the Others) Let's head inside now, guys.
Smash Kids: (Simply Nodded to Ness' Command)
'Door Opens and Closed'
Nana: (Eyes Widens in Pure Awe Alongside Everyone Else as They Walk Inside the Inside of Their Own Mansion) We....We did it.
Popo: We finally have the entire Smash Mansion to ourselves....
Jr: One and a half week of no adults or teens bossing us around........
Toon: And it all ours to look after.......
Ness: With no strings attached.....
Kirby: Poyo.........
And so, within three to four seconds later, The Smash Kids (Except for Lucas and Ashley) scream their lungs out as they scatter and runs off into different rooms, causing ruckuses and mayhem along the way.
Ness and Toon running up the stairs and sliding down on the staircase railings, rinse and repeat, The Ice Climbers running around the hallway while banging their respective kitchen pans loudly, even Kirby is seen running around the kitchen table before stopping to finish up an entire juice box in one suck before resuming back to running in circles.
Ashley: ('Sighs in Annoyance') The day haven't reached it's evening phase yet and they're already acting like a bunch of maniacs in here
Jr: (In the Other Room) I'M GONNA BREAK SOMETHING!!! ('SMASH') (Starts Laughing Evilly)
Lucas: (Shrugs While Smiling Sheepishly) At....least we get to be involved in this kind of madness together.
Ashley: (Rest the Side of her Head onto Lucas' Shoulder) I suppose~ (Starts Pouting a Bit) It'd be nice if the two of us get to have our cuddle time in peace and quiet~
Lucas: (Happily Hugs Ashley Again) We'll have it all in due time. I promise.
Ashley: (Smiles While Snuggling onto Lucas' Embrace a Bit) I know~ I just feel like complaining today.
Lucas: (Giggles Softly) You silly~ (Gives Ashley a Peck on the Cheek)
Ashley: (Grabs her Chin While Thinking) That being said, i do wonder how we're all going to get through all of this....
Lucas: Of being home alone?
Ashley: Yeah, like what and how are we gonna eat and what's our schedule is going to be like throughout the week and a half. We can't just run around and potentially wreck every room in the mansion everyday.

Lucas: That is true....Still, I'm sure after everything calms down, we can see if Ness has come up with any plans going forward.

Lucas/Ashley: (Eyes Widens at a Very Familiar Face Standing Behind Them Just Now) Ms. Kawakami!
Lucas: (Happily Hugs Sadayo's Lower Half of her Body) It's so great to see you here today, Hiii!~
Sadayo: (Giggles Softly While Gently Ruffles the Top of Lucas' Hair) It's great to see you too, kiddo.
Ashley: You're going to watch over all of us for the time being?
Sadayo: (Happily Nodded) Yep! From the request of your Momma Peach. (Forms a More of a Deadpinned Look) At the very last minute.

Sadayo: (On the Phone with Peach) You want me to watch over the kids for the time being?
Peach: (Wiping the Last Remaining Tears Away On the Other Line) Until we return home after week week and a half. You're the one person I could trust and believe with this task, Sadayo.
Sadayo: A-And trust me, I am very honored for all of that indeed, but uhh....You do realize yours-
Peach: Ours.
Sadayo: Right, right- Our kids comprises of two highly advanced psychic users, a witch, a hero of time, two professional mountain climbers, a son of an evil trutle tyrant-
Peach: And a pink adorable puffball with a a stomach equivalent of that to a literal black hole.
Sadayo: Wait, seriously?
Peach: It's true. Kirby accidently inhale one of the Toad Bridage once- I believe it was the Yellow Toad? It's a long story to explain- Anyways, yes, I am fully aware just how capable each of my babies are, but- ('Sigh') You know me, I'm a mom! I can't help but to worry about their well-being- (Starts Tearing Up Again) Especially when I'm about to be another dimension away from them.....(Starts Crying Softly a Bit)
Sadayo: ('Sigh') Yeah, I understand the long-distance dilemma quite a bit. ('Sighs Some More') I dunno, I just...Don't wanna end up messing everything up on the whole mom thing along the way, you know?
Peach: Oh sweetie- ('Sniff') Everyone in the world has their moments of messing up sometimes, even us moms. You just gotta learn from those mistakes and try doing better afterwards. If anyone can do it, I most certainly believe that it would be you.
Sadayo: (Genuinely Surprised by the Pep Talk Given to Her) You.....Actually have that much faith in me, do you?

Sadayo: I know, right? This is the most motivated I've felt in my whole entire life.

Sadayo: (Raises an Eyebrow at the Younger Hero of Time) Hello, Toon-san.

Ness: (Eyes Widened From the Upstairs) Ms. Kawakami!? (Immediately Rushes Down the Stairs to See Her and the Others with an Awkward Smile) W-What brings you into our lovely home, hmm?
Ashley: She's here to watch over us for the week and a half.
Ness/Toon: She is?
Popo: (Immediately Walks Over to the Pthers with Nana While Holding the Pans Down) Ms. Kawakami?
Nana: Watching over us?
Kirby: (Walks into the Entrance Room While Holding a Perfectly Made Sandwich) Poyo Poyo?
Sadayo: You heard right. Your Momma Peach gotta so worried about you kids on road, so she asked me to look over you all at the very last minute.
Toon: Yep. (Holds Off of Sadayo's Hands) Definitely sounds like something she would do.
Ness: (Nods his Head in Agreement) Especially when she's already from a dimension distance. But we should probably tell Jr about this before he-
'SCATTERED VASE'
Smash Kids: ('Sigh') Break something./Poyo Poyo.
Jr: (Rushes Over to the Entrance with a Big Grin on his Face) Yo! You guys should've seen me in the other room, I was-
'Clears Throat'
Jr: (Eyes Begins to Widened at his Teacher Turnt Mother Figure Glaring Down on Him) Crap. Ms. Kawakami is here, isn't she?
Ness: Yep.

Sadayo: For a week and a half.
Jr: And that's probably because Momma Peach called you at the very last minute or so?
Lucas: You guessed it.
Ashley: Ding-Ding.
Jr: Huh. (Notices His Black Baseball He Was Holding Before Quickly Hiding it Behind his Back) U-Uh- Just letting everyone know right now, I only broke ONE vase today!
Ness: (Sighs While Pinching the Bridge of his Nose) Which one?
Jr: The.....(Grabs his Chin While Thinking) Love One...I think?
Ness: Good thing we have plenty of spares of that particular one in the closest.
Toon: (Shrugs to Ness) At least the whole Home Alone concept was fun while it lasted
Sadayo: Oh come on, kids, this isn't too bad of a scenario. I mean, sure, being home alone, when I was your age, seemed fun at first, for like an hour and a half, until more and more minutes and hours passed by, to pure boredom. So much to the point that I ended watch the local news and repeat the words "Hot in Topeaka" just to pass the time, even did a whole research of that place and everything.
Ice Climbers: Yeesh.
Toon: That can't be fun.
Sadayo: (Shrugs) Eh. Could've been a lot worst in retrospect. But seriously though, I'm still kinda new to this whole....Mom business. All I ask is you kids try not to give me too much hassle, yeah?
Ness: (Gives Sadayo a Reassuring Smile on his Face Along with Toon) I wouldn't worry too much about us.
Toon: (Wraps his Arm Around Ness' Shoulder) Yeah, we're way less trouble than you think, at least compared to Jr here.

Toon: You have nothing to worry about.

Kirby: (Happily Rushes Out of the Kitchen with Five Slices of Pizza on his Plate) Poyo!!~
Sadayo: (Glares at the Pink Puffball) Kirby!! You get back here with that plate of pizza, young man! You already swallowed nearly a whole box of them already!

Sadayo: (Quickly Turns to the Two Sources of All the Bouncing) Popo! Nana!
Popo: (Immediately Stops Bouncing on the Sofa Alongside Nana While in Their Night Clothes) Sorry.

Sadayo: (Sighs While Facepalming Herself) ('Ugh') Whatever- (Points the Ice Climbers Upstairs) Just make sure your brother doesn't eating all that pizza up there, will ya?
Popo: (Shrugs) Nearly impossible task considering who we're dealing with, but we'll try.
Nana: Kirby! (Rushes Upstairs Along with Popo) You better not be eating pizza up there!

Toon: (In a Heated Argument with Ness) Dude, how long are you gonna get into your thick head that the Rasengan is one of the top best super techniques to have in all anime!?

Toon: ('Scoffs') Please. You're obviously not saying it right!

Sadayo: (Quickly Glares at the Two Boys) Enough! Both of you! You've been going at it for nearly half and hour now, don't you know when to quit?

Ness: (Shrugs) We feel it's the only situation to settle this debate once and for all.
Sadayo: Yeah? Well, the only thing debates like that brings is a nothing but headaches on my end! Now, put it to rest, march up to your rooms, and sleep, please!
Toon/Ness: ('Sighs in Defeat') Yes, ma'am. (Goes to the Staircases)
Ness: I am so right, by the way.
Toon: Not on your life, Yo-Yo Boy.
Sadayo: Hey! Less debating, more marching up there! (Notices Jr Casually Walking By While Holding a Bg of Gumballs) And where do you think you're going with candy in your hand?

Sadayo: In the middle of midnight? (Takes a Bag Out of Jr's Hand) Yeah, I don't think so.

Jr exhale his breath out in front of Sadayo's face.....Unfortunately for latter, the wrenched smell was more than enough for to quickly cover her nose, stand back up, and back away.

Jr: (Bursts Out Laughing and Pointing Finger at Sadayo's Dispense) Ha-Haaaa! You should've seen the look on your face, it's hilarious! (Picks the Bag Up From the Floor) I'll be taking this back, thank you~ (Starts Whistling as He Finally Walks Off)
Sadayo: (Glares at Jr Again) Hey! Get back here with the candy!

Sadayo: ('Sigh') Either one is fine at this point. You slept over here last night?
Lucas: (Happily Nodded) Mhm. You've chased Jr all night yesterday that you managed to tired yourself back to the sofa, so I wanted to make sure you get the proper rest you needed without any disturbance, especially from Jr.
Sadayo: (Immediately Turns Away and Looks Up at the Ceiling, Completely Pleased by the Sunflower's Kindess and Care) (BLESS HIS SWEET, TINY HEART!!~) (Turns Back to Lucas with a Soft Smile) That's really sweet of you, Lucas- (Suddenly Starts Yawning and Stretching her Arm Up) But you didn't have to do that for me at all.....

Lucas: Ooh!~ I love it already~ I didn't know you could cook, Momma Sadayo.
Sadayo: (Starts Rubbing The Back of her Head a Bit) Well, I....uhhh.....Kinda.....sorta can't? Hell, I don't even think I remember the last time I cooked myself an honest meal in my life- (Shrugs) But it's just a simple breakfast meal, right? (Snickers a Bit) How bad could I screw this up?

Ness: (Quickly Arrived to the Kitchen Alongside the Other Smash Kids, Some With Their Respective Weapons in Each of Their Hands) We heard the alarm! Everything alright in- Here?
Ness and gang raised their eyebrows at the Sight of Sadayo, now covered in a bit of black soot on her face, holding a plate burnt scrambled eggs in her hand.
Sadayo: .............I screwed up the eggs.
Ness: That badly, huh?
Sadayo: Yeah. Knew I should've took up Culinary Class when I had the chance....
Lucas: (Puts on a More Reassuring Smile on his Face) I dunno- (Gently Takes the Plate Out of Sadayo's Hands to Look at the Eggs Himself) It....doesn't look too terrible, at least from my perspective.
Ashley: Lucas, darling, those eggs look like a pile of burnt, molding wood paper.
Toon: Burnt goop is more like it.
Sadayo: I.E. it's utter crap.
Jr: (Chuckles Lightly) Ha! Crap.
Kirby uses his inhaling abilities to suck up the burnt eggs and plastic plate from Lucas' hands, much to Sadayo's surprise.
Sadayo: Huh?
Lucas: Well, at least Kirby seems interested in trying them out.
Sadayo: Why though?
Kirby: (Starts Smacking his Lips a Bit From the Taste of the Eggs He Just Ate Before Putting on a More Slightly Nonchalant Look and Shrugging) Hm. Poyopoyo Poyo.
Popo: Ouch. 4.5 out of 10?
Nana: That's the lowest score Kirby gave out yet.
Sadayo: I'd say it should lower than that, but to each their own I guess. Grocery shopping, anyone?

Few More Minutes of Getting Dressed and Ready For the Day Later at the Smash Grocery Store.......
Peach: (Gasps on the Other Line of Sadayo's Video Call) Oh my! Are you and the kids are alright?
Sadayo: (Sighs While Pushing a Buggy Forward as The Most of the Kids Starts Putting Various Stuff in It) Yeah, we're fine, other than those eggs and my pride got burned along with it. And get this, the moment Kirby swallow a whole plate of them he gave me 4.5 rating.
Samus: (Chimes in on the Video Call) Damn, really? That's like the lowest score he could possibly give to any food. Ever.
Peach: ('Sigh') Speaking of which- (Puts on a Soft Motherly Glare omat a Certain Pink Ball on Screen) Kirbyyy.
Kirby: (Immediately Stops What He Was Doing While Carrying a Mountain Size of Food in his Hands) Hm?

Samus: (Sees Jr Sneaking a Candy Bar into the Buggy) That goes double for you too, Jr

Jr: Around the town a bit and end up here. Exhausted.

If I catch any of you doing either one, your butts are gonna sit right next to me in the shade for ten to twelve minutes flat. Sadayo: (Now Seen Soaked and Wet with a Clear Annoyed and Deadpinned Look on her Face) ............Message cleared then.
As Sadayo starts reading her cookbook she brought from the bookstore, everyone else seems to be having a good time in the pool already. Ness and Toon Link are playing Water Wars against once another, the Ice Climbers does some synthesize dancing with Kirby being in the middle, and Ashley is seen talking to Lucas while sitting and relaxing on an inflatable pool chair.
Ashley: Are you enjoying the new floaties I got for you, my dear?
Lucas: (Happily Nodded While Enjoying the New Floaties Ashley Got For Him) Yeah, they're great! I feel much floaty and safer now thanks to you.

After groaning for a few seconds, Bowser Jr reluctantly hot out of the pool and sits next to Sadayo's chair under the umbrella's shade, pouting.

Sadayo: Well, that cause not a lot of people are as sincere as you are, Lucas. That and they've been wayyy too picky on who they want to date these days....

Sadayo: Yeah, like some will either have expectations on their ideal partner so high or, God forbidden, so down low that for whatever reason, it would always end up crashing down on their faces afterwards. It's becoming predictably sad at this point.
