I’m forever in the mood for a rockstar AU, and this fic is definitely one of my favourites! Old but gold, 10/10 would recommend!

Comments: I included this on my top 20 rs games fics, but it really deserves its own rec. Remus is so confident, determined, and proud of who he is in this, and I love seeing him that way. The tension between him and Sirius just crackles, too. When I first got into wolfstar, remuslives23 was the author I always went to when I wanted to read an amazing AU.

A very good fanfic by one of my favorite authors. Some characters may seem a bit ooc (especially Remus at times) but I’m so in love with remuslives23′s style and I would definitely recommend checking this fic out!
Wolfstar Perfection
I can not rave about this story enough. I encourage everyone to read it. Set in character, Hogwarts time, this story focuses on our lovely Remus and Sirius as they sort out their confusing emotions. No sad endings. Lots of smut. And a this is now 100% what I think happened while the marauders were at Hogwarts.
You won’t be able to put it down and its a long one, so be warned! (ummm like 90k??)

I am disappointed in the first fic in my remuslives23 favorites marathon. It's cute and fluffy, but it doesn't have depth or skill. There's no cleverness. It is good for amusement, however. The formatting did bother me, but there are no glaring grammatical errors, and it was briefly entertaining. The main pairing is James/Lily, but there is some joking about Sirius/Remus. Title? The Tongue Is An Excellent Aid In CPR. Author? Doctor Strangelove. Rating? T (and a very clean T, at that). Word count? 969. My take? Eh. Okay.

So... I like seeing if I can read a long string of arbitrary (though usually connected) things in a row. I decided, for funsies, to see if I can read all of the fics under remuslives23's favorites section that pertain to me (i.e., they are in a fandom in which I am mildly knowledgeable). There are 365 of them, of varying lengths. remuslives23 is an author who is near and dear to my heart (without knowing it) purely because she (or he, but I think she) writes Harry Potter and Torchwood fanfic and does so very well. She is good at both explicit sex and fluff and plot and combining them. Hopefully, her favorites will be just as good, if not better. I shall see.
