Replanting

Lucky for you if you haven't read it, Replanting exists already as a two part story that stands alone:

But this is my most popular piece here on Tumblr (by a lot) and I do really like the characters and world, so I keep making stabs at a continuation. The current attempt is in the shape of "Pilot and Acacia attend a family picnic for Dr. Mia Crane's polycule". I wanted to underscore some of the plurality-adjacent themes by having Pilot and Acacia interact with Aurora, who are a plural system married to Mia.

I keep running into writer's block on that piece, though, largely because the original two chapters were designed as a standalone story with a self-contained emotional arc. But people LOVE that story (and don't get me wrong, so do I) so I'd love to find a way to continue it.

Potato Army Update!!

The potato army may have seemed to be flourishing, but turns out they didn't have enough recruits or room to grow, so we're going to replant them and try again!
