[Summer 1983] Matt’s Birthday

Tiberius had been doing better, ever since deciding to get help he had been doing what he needed to be the man his family needed. He went to therapy, meetings when he craved alcohol and took care of the kids that gave him purpose more often than not. Life wasn’t exactly easy but was good and that was he decided to focus on.

Today was Matt’s birthday party, it had been a few years since Violet and Nick couldn’t plan it but him and his mother did everything they could to make it special. He invited a few children their age and some a little younger but everything was festive and the dragon shaped cake was brilliant so the only thing left to do was have fun.

He was chasing his nephews around the living room enjoying how much they laughed at their silliness when he almost bumped into someone new, “Merlin Addie. I almost ran into you.” he laughed straightening up and smiling at her, “I’m glad you could make it.” he said to the little girl and leaned to peck Ty’s lips, “Hullo to you too.”

[1990] Bigger Family - AU

It had been a rough couple of years, Tyler was diagnosed with cancer and the dynamic in the family changed, Tiberius tried to be organized, to be the pillar where the kids could support as the storm passed and tried to give Tyler some hope that he would come out of it. It all payed of, Tyler was healthier, whatever they did at Mungo’s made his husband be a strong man again and Tiberius couldn’t be happier.

They were late at night reading on their bed as Tyler still regain his strength and put his business in order when a little thought entered Tiberius’ mind. He closed his book and looked at his husband, who was reading calmly next to him. Leaning on his side he turned towards Tyler and smiled, “I love that you are home, some days I think I’m still dreaming.” They spend many times at the Hospital but they had all got back home around a week before and it still felt a little surreal.

[1984] Hogwarts Blues

It had been a couple of months since Matt left for Hogwarts. November came by with cold weather and an empty flat. He hated the idea of spending the dreadful afternoon alone. It was near Sirius’ birthday and even if he still wouldn’t be able to get out of Azkaban it made Tiberius feel a little uneasy as the day came by.

He owled Andromeda to check on her and soon he decided to visit Tyler. They had been going out for about a year and a half now and he was happy with the older man, Tyler made him find peace in the mess that was his life and today he just needed his company. A nice hot chocolate and some light reading was exactly what he needed.

Tiberius apparated to Tyler’s home and entered with the spare key. “Ty? it’s me, I thought we could do something today?” he asked to the apparantely empty home. “Ty?”

[1982] Kids Will Be Kids

Tiberius had been living with his parents ever since leaving rehab, he didn’t want to relapse so soon so as long as he had people around it was better for him. He took care of Matt and Bob popped in and out as he travelled around the world.

His parents had long days of taking care of Matt and he wanted to thank them, so he owled Andromeda for her to bring Dora and Tyler for him to come with Addie, they could stay in if Tyler was too tired; the house had enough bedrooms for him to crash if he wanted to; and Tiberius could be good on his promise.

He heard Matt and Dora run around the living room, playing knights and pirates when the door rang and he opened. “Hullo, welcome to the Pacific Ocean, hope you have your pirate on because Dora is pleading for someone to join her crew.”

[1982] A Lovey Dinner | Tyles

Andromeda had been so kind to him even when she wasn’t obligated, she checked up on him even after he couldn’t get Sirius a trial and assured him that no matter what she still cared about him and they should keep in touch, so after getting out of rehab it wasn’t rare to get an invitation for dinner for the Tonks.

He arrived with some flowers and some sort of dessert; it wasn’t wise to have alcohol on him at the moment. What he didn’t expected was to see his new sort of crush on Andromeda’s living room. The apothecary owner had popped into his mind more times than not and he felt incredibly guilty for letting that happen when his heart still ached for Sirius.

However after brief words from Andromeda assuring him that Sirius would want him to be happy he felt less guilty and just offered to clean the table, being that her and Ted cooked for them.

He was rinsing a plate and putting it on the drying tray when he felt the weight of it taken by another pair of hands, “Uh... I was planning on drying them later, but thank you.” he said with a light blush not sure how to act around the older man.

Important Request

Andromeda waited for Tyler at the little cafe she mentioned, she ordered a cup of tea and butter biscuits and waited for her friend to arrive, a little excited as the ring in her finger clang against the cup and about the question she was about to ask the Hufflepuff.

She waited for a few minutes before she saw Tyler and beamed at him, “Ty!” she said excited and hugged him.

After a long day of work the only good thing was what was going to happen, he met Tyler and Jakes at the front of the hospital’s office where they introduced them to Lacy, a nice girl that was glad to meet the young couple; and after that they waited. today was the day they would know what where they having, no matter what they would love the baby, but it was nice to know what to expect.

He sat int he waiting room next to Ty and looked around at the woman reading muggle magazines. “So, what would you like? boy or girl?”

Ted had sent the letter canceling their little party, it wasn’t much but Kris wanted to make Ty’s day special, so he dressed up a little and waited for Tyler outside the Diagon Alley. A bag in his hand and a nervous smile on his face.
