Warnings : News anchor Sam, weather girl reader, news director/anchor Dean, Cameraman Benny. Winter storm, so cold, but so sweet it warms your heart.
SPN Fluff Bingo 2019 Masterlist.
You were bundled up in the biggest jacket you could find, bouncing up and down as the cameraman got ready. “Why the fuck am I out here?” you grumbled and kept moving, looking longingly into the coffee shop behind you. You never wanted a hot beverage so bad in your life.
“Ain’t no picnic for me either, ‘Cher.” Benny grumbled. “Orders came from high up.”
“I hate this.”
“You love winter.” he laughed, shifting the camera onto his shoulder. “You got a minute.”
“I hate being stuck out in the worst storm of the winter.” The freezing wind whipped past, blowing your hair in your face, and you untucked your arms from around you to try and get in under control. “Shit!”
“Twenty seconds.” Benny warned.
“Fuck!” you scrambled to get it some semblance of under control, which was a futile effort with the wind blowing again. “Fuck it!” you grabbed the mic from the assistant.
“Five. Four.” You gave one last shiver as Benny counted you down, then pointed at you and you heard the studio voice coming in over the ear piece. It wasn’t Sam, which almost threw you off. It sounded like Dean, who hadn’t sat behind a desk in years, not since he started producing and directing, and he handed off his job to his younger brother.
“And now we’ll go live on main street, for the weekend weather with Y/N. Y/N? How’s the weather out there?”
“As you can see, it’s a winter wonderland tonight.” you plastered on the fake smile and charm. “And yes, before you ask, it will continue through the weekend so be prepared to-” Someone moving into the shot distracted you, and you were about to move them along when he pulled down his hood. “Sam!? What- why aren’t you at your desk?”
Sam just smiled at you, so full of love. “Because I got a tip about a hell of a story.”
“Oh? But I-” you glanced to Benny who hadn’t stopped shooting. “This is-” you looked back to Sam, and seeing him getting down on one knee, it hit you.
“There’s a desk reporter, madly in love with the weather girl. And he needs to know the probability of her saying yes.”
“Oh my god, you’re such a dork.” you teared up and laughed. “Please tell me you’re kidding.” Sam pulled the small box out of his pocket, and Benny zoomed a bit closer to get the ring and Sam's face. “Oh my god, you’re serious.” You couldn’t stop the tears from running down your face.
“So, sweetheart, what’s the forecast?”
“Yes.” you nodded, crying openly as Sam grinned, and you could hear the cheers from your small crew, the crowd watching, and the people in the studio that were coming through your ear piece. Sam stood and slid the ring over your finger and you were quick to wrap your arms around him, a small thump as the microphone you held hit Sam’s back.
When you pulled apart from Sam, you could hear talking in your ear piece again, and you knew they were still filming you. “It’s looking a little wet out there, now.” came the tease from the studio.
“Shut up, Dean.” you laughed, wiping your cheeks, and looking up at Sam again.
“Welcome to the family, kid.” You could hear the smile in Dean’s voice, as Sam leaned down and kissed you.
“Thanks, Dean.” you sniffled. “Can I come back to the studio now? I’m fuckin’ freezing.”
Everyone laughed. “Yeah, come on back.” You couldn’t help but shed more tears as you threw your arms around Sam again, while Dean signed you out. “Everyone here at KLSR would like to congratulate Sam Winchester and Y/N Y/L/N on their engagement, and we will have your weekend forecast for you as soon as they get back to the studio.”
“I love you.” you cried against his chest.
“I love you, too.”

Summary:
Brothers and lovers, Sam and Dean Winchester, are about to get the break of their career when they’re selected for an exclusive tour of a milk factory. The young reporters are prepared to share the exciting secrets of how hybrid cows are treated in popular milk factories and become big shots in their field. What they find, however, is more horrifying than either could have imagined.
~~
Dean had definitely been more excited to go to the milk factory than Sam had. He was antsy the whole drive there, to the point where Sam worried they might crash. Even after expressing his concerns and repeatedly telling Dean to calm down, Sam's older brother was still childishly excited. Not many reporters were allowed to visit the milk factory, but the Winchester brothers were climbing the fame latter, so this could be their final push into the big shots. Sam was thrilled that this opportunity was coming in at just the right moment, and he was glad to see a smile on his brother's face for once. Dean hadn't had a real smile in ages.
The factory looked like any other one, dark gray walls, faces of cows plastered on the sides. Dean parked in the visitor lot, then leaned over to give Sam a sweet kiss. "Can you believe this is really happening?" He asked, face just inches from his brother. Sam gave a soft laugh and let one hand come up to cup Dean's cheek, taking another kiss.
"This is a big deal," he agreed, rubbing Dean's cheek gently with his thumb. "If we do this right, we could be famous." Dean broke out into another grin, locking their lips as a sort of mini celebration. Dean let go of the wheel to grab a handful of Sam's hair, burying his fingers between the soft locks as Sam gripped his shirt, sliding closer to Dean on the seat. They lost themselves in the kiss, tongues brushing against one another as they gripped at one another, trying to be closer.
Summary: Sam is used to Dean dragging him to new places but he never expected the place to be a theater. Tonight’s show is “Fallen Angels”, starring one Golden WInged man that makes Sam very grateful to be there.

What is with fics that make me like stuff I usually don’t like? I’m not one for dancers, strippers, yupIworkonstages-ers aus, AND YET. Not that I’m pro-fluff either, so idk *hands*. My point is, I liked this! I can’t explain why, but it was nice and cute. perfectly balanced (like, the cute was not overdone), and well written. Also, real smooth, Dean ;) ~cee
I love the idea of Gabriel as a dancer, like a lot. Its just the right amount of fluff and silliness. Dean being smooth is just an added bonus. Great read - Lauren
