So, so, so excited that you posted that Reputation will be a Burgstead fic! One of my top 3 TSwift albums and my fave rarepair. I’m also pumped for your Kevin/Violet fic, I’ve never pictured them together but I’m really liking the idea!

Reputation is the album I actually had the hardest time working out who it’d be for!

Originally it was going to be Manstead, but after Torrey leaving I just couldn’t bring my heart to write a full fic for them. It hurt too much.

Then…then it was going to be a s6/7/8 AU with Kim/Hailey/Adam, and it was going to be very soft and adorable. I still have a plan for a oneshot series on the three of them with a similar plot, but trying to work it into the Reputation fic felt too much.

Now it’s Burgstead and I’m so excited for it. My love of these two keeps growing (there’s an Unintentional Christmas fic coming in December for them because LOOK WE NEED IT), and the plot I’ve got for Reputation is going to be fun. Just wait till Taylor can re-record and everything will be revealed!

As for Kevin/Violet, it’s all from a throwaway comment from @agent-bash one day that they could work and it’s grown from there. They were in Second Chances, and I’ve got a part in a oneshot I’ve been working on that involves them too. Don’t ask me why but I just think they could have something great.
