→  AKAASHI is a classic romantic. he buys you exotic flowers with special meanings for important occasions, and he might even write a sonnet dedicated to you in dark ink on a coffeeshop napkin.

→  SUGA likes the kind of romance that belongs in a photo album. he sets up for the two of you at sunset, a wicker basket laden with your favorite foods in one hand and a bouquet of roses in the other.

→  KUROO was a hopeless romantic before he met you. now that he’s dating someone, he can carry out all those things he wanted to do – kisses on your knuckles, sentimental text messages, walking you back home late at night.

→  OIKAWA has a romance that exists just for you two. he likes private embraces in candlelit rooms and writing love letters because it’s easier than listing out everything he loves about you out loud.

→  BOKUTO is very showy about his romance. he feels like you complete him, and he wants to show that. he’s the kind of person to make a sign saying “y/n, i love you” and hold it in public until you show up for your date.

→  ATSUMU likes romance you’d see in a coming-of-age movie. he’ll throw rocks at your window at midnight and buy you a heart-shaped pizza. he might scatter rose petals over his bed later, even if you two end up in a conversation and laugh too hard to get in a romantic mood.

→  TSUKISHIMA tries to be lowkey at romance. he’ll share his headphones with you, make you a playlist of songs that remind him of you, and get you that thing you added to your wishlist but never bought.

→  KENMA is romantic in a way that doesn’t feel forced. he quietly murmurs how much he loves you at 3am when you two are in a sleepy haze, and the feeling of his fingers interlocked with yours feels like what romance should be.

⟶  TSUKISHIMA raises his eyebrows involuntarily, half in surprise and half in satisfaction. “did you just call me kei?” he asks, the corners of his lips turning up. if he were being honest, he’d tell you that he’s been waiting forever for you to address him with his given name, but he hadn’t wanted to ask or seem pushy. there aren’t many people who call him by his first name, but he’s glad that you’re one of them.

⟶  OIKAWA pretends he didn’t hear you the first time. “sorry, what was that?” he asks, already smiling. “can you say that a little louder?” when you say “tooru” again, he’ll laugh a little, saying that he didn’t know hearing his name would make him this happy. if you call him by his last name later on, he’ll definitely ignore you – if he’s talking to you, oikawa’s only going by tooru from now on.

⟶  BOKUTO gets the widest grin on his face when he hears you say “koutarou.” he’s freaking out because it feels like such a significant milestone in your relationship together. after bokuto says your name back to you, you two are repeating your names to each other until they sound like nonsense, and he brightens up every time you call him by his first name.

i don’t use tiktok enough nor am i on the right side of tiktok to do this (so some of these trends are ancient) but here are some thoughts!!!

→ you play one of the thirst trap audios and record atsumu’s reaction 

→ “tell me you know your boyfriend won’t cheat on you without actually telling me your boyfriend won’t cheat on you” but it’s just you filming tsukishima while he shows you his collection of dinosaur plushies

→ “put this sound over a video of you in love” with suga

→ dancing tiktoks with bokuto

→ relationship storytime with oikawa (no one watches it) 

→ you pretend to fall asleep while on facetime with daichi and film his reaction

→ “when you were nice to the weird quiet kid and now he’s your boyfriend” with kenma

→ “telling my boyfriend i scraped his car” prank with iwaizumi

→  NISHINOYA is chattering about something when you laugh and tell him “slow down, yu.” a few seconds go by before he realizes you just called him by his first name. he asks you to say it a few more times, and even though he’s never thought his first name suited him much, he can’t imagine anything sounding more perfect in your voice. he insists you continue saying “yu” from now on, and he perks up whenever he hears you call his name. 

→  AONE pauses for a moment, and his hand goes to the back of his neck so he can stop himself from reaching for you. he’s been wanting you to call him by his first name for a long time. when he finally hears you say “takanobu,” he has to hide how happy he feels. he didn’t know a single word from you could make him feel like this. (he tells you later that that it’ll be too confusing if in the future you’re both called aone, won’t it?)

→  KUROO doesn’t even try to hide how excited he is. he’s not too surprised since he’s been pestering you to call him tetsurou since he realized he was in love you, but it’s different actually hearing it from you. after he gets over his initial rush of joy, he’ll grin and tease you about trying to find the right timing for it. he loves that you call him tetsurou because it just reinforces how close you two are, and he’s never felt happier.

→  SAKUSA is only ever called his first name by his immediate family – friends and teammates usually stick to “sakusa” and some variation of “omi” – so he’s surprised when he hears you say “kiyoomi.” when you see the shock on his face, you might revert back to his last name, but he’ll ask you to call him kiyoomi again. he’s glad you’re comfortable enough with him to do so, and hearing his first name sounds like the most natural thing in the world when it’s coming from you.

Hey Can I request a headcanon or one shot with Haikyuu characters (any of your choices) having an accidental kiss with their crush, you know, the cliché romance scene in drama's where the girl fell and male catches her and end ups kissing, or something when the girl turn around not noticing the close distance between the male, and their lips touches. Anything that is accidental

they accidentally kiss their crush ♡

→  TSUKISHIMA isn’t willing to admit his own feelings until you slip on the floor and land on top of him. he thinks your face brushes his own, and the soft feeling of your lips on his makes his heart stutter.

he knows he can’t deny his feelings anymore when you blink at him, apologizing profusely. tsukishima mutters, “don’t apologize. i liked that.”

→  KUROO is bending down while holding open the door for you, and when you turn to thank him, he feels your lips on the corner of his mouth. you’re wide-eyed, stammering out what he thinks might be apology.

kuroo just smirks, letting the door fall shut behind you two. “let’s do that properly,” he says.

→  BOKUTO has been wanting to kiss you forever. the opportunity comes when you accidentally lean in too close and fall forward. he steadies you in his arms just a moment too late; your lips have already met his.

“wow,” he says breathlessly, the words slipping out of his mouth before he can stop them. “i-will you kiss me again?”

→  SAKUSA catches you when you fall, and your lips brush his over his mask. you two are both wide-eyed, staring into each other’s eyes, and you can hear his quick intake of breath.

“sorry about that,” you say, expecting him to let go of you since you’ve invaded his personal space.

instead, sakusa’s grip on you tightens, and he only murmurs, “that’s... that’s okay. this is perfectly fine with me.”

they stop their s/o from accidentally flashing people ♡

→  OIKAWA gasps and slides in front of you. he makes a bigger deal out of it than it needs to be, but you accidentally exposing yourself to everyone is the last thing he wants. he’ll shamelessly watch you take your sweater off in front of him, though... is it getting hotter, or is it just him?

→  AKAASHI gently tugs your sweater back down. he explains that you were close to taking off both shirts, and he’ll hold down your undershirt for you as you take off your actual sweater. he’s a little embarrassed that his first instinct was to touch you, but neither of you mind.

→  USHIJIMA tells you your shirt is stuck to your sweater. he doesn’t mince words because he really doesn’t want you accidentally flashing anyone (except maybe him). later, he’ll keep an eye out in case it happens again.

→  SUNA uses his hands and covers up your stomach. it’s not totally effective, but it’s enough to get you to stop taking off your sweater. his hands are large, though, so they manage to cover a good amount. suna might blush and laugh nervously when he feels your body heat so close.

→  USHIJIMA has no idea when someone is flirting with him. social cues are completely lost on him – that person says they like his muscles? he says he can give them his gym routine if they want, but most of it’s from volleyball. someone else tries to give them his number? it’s alright, they can reach him equally well via email. you could tell him straight up that someone’s flirting with him and he still wouldn’t take the hint.

→  SUNA catches on quick when someone’s flirting with him, but that doesn’t mean he makes it known to the other person. he’ll act like he’s oblivious just to see their reaction and show off that he already has you, so he’s not at all interested. definitely invites whoever’s flirting with him to hang out on a date with you and him, just to mess with them. 

→  KAGEYAMA dodges flirting attempts left and right because he doesn’t even realize it’s happening. he overthinks what flirting is and doesn’t realize that casual interest constitutes flirting – for kageyama, if they’re not literally on top of him, they’re probably just being nice. when he brings up his s/o and sees the person’s reaction change, he probably thinks it’s because they like you, not him. well-intentioned but not the brightest when it comes to this kind of thing.

→  AONE just doesn’t think anyone would be flirting with him. even when it’s really obvious, he comes up with some kind of excuse on his own to explain why, as outlandish as those excuses may be. he loves talking about you in general, so he definitely brings you up to whoever’s flirting with him without even realizing that they don’t exactly want to hear about his s/o. despite all that, he’s very sensitive and flustered when he thinks you’re flirting with him.

→  IWAIZUMI genuinely thinks that a) they’re just being unusually friendly, or b) they’re trying to get oikawa’s number. somehow, he doesn’t realize that he’s pretty popular. regularly gets lots of confessions, but he still wonders why people from his group projects keep on messaging him separately and asking if he’s free. at least 10 people have asked his friends if iwaizumi’s single. 

→  KENMA doesn’t get too many people persistently flirting with him because he’s blunt about who he likes and doesn’t like. still, on the occasion that it happens, he’ll take whatever they give him – chocolate, tickets to a movie, whatever – and say, “my s/o would love this, thanks” with a completely straight face. 

+  bonus: absolutely not OIKAWA, who thinks everyone is flirting with him. that guy who held open the door for him one time? love at first sight. the cashier who helped him at the self check-out? positively infatuated. the classmate from his lecture who made eye contact with him? probably daydreams about him. (oikawa accidentally flirts with them in response because he doesn’t know how else to react.)
