Once again thinking about what an insane privilege it is to get added context and depth about our favorite pieces of art- and in turn added context and depth surrounding who Taylor was at that time, what she was grappling with, and strategically missing pieces of the stories that made her who she is today. It’s WILD ! With every rerecord I feel more grateful and more in awe. Like what other fans in history have ever experienced anything remotely like this!?

a relic from a messier Red era

ever since the bejeweled mv dropped i've been praying for speak now tv to drop on December 13th. I mean, i would expect she'd want to own all her music before performing it on tour and that leaves space to do one every month if she goes that route. speak now tv in december. 1989 tv in january. reputation tv in february. debut tv in march, right before tour starts. could i be wrong. ofc. especially on order, but i would guess pretty hard that's what it's gonna be. but also this will be her 13th album technically, if we counting rerecords and that's 13 and the 13th is a 13th and it's her birthday and like speak now is the album she wrote completely on her own and she's turning 33 (close to thirteen, also 11*3, so) and idk it makes sense to me. i also like to dream. but yeah. i hope we get it then.

OK it just hit me: we got a lot of conflicting 1989 and Speak Now references in 2021 because those are the next TV releases for 2022.

Then debut and reputation will come out in 2023 since reputation can’t be recorded until basically the end of 2022 and it just fits to have debut be either last, or paired with the last re-record.

Using that logic, it takes 2 months to make an album and 2 months to produce cd's/merch. So that would mean instead of doing an album dump like many people predict, the timeline would be:

okay, i did not come up with this theory but i can't find original posts about it so i decided it would be easier to recreate one.

Possible Release Timeline for Taylor's Version Re-Records

i'm confused and amused that people seem to be all worked up about figuring out the order of the re-records because she already told us on september 18, 2019:

💛 = Fearless

💙 = 1989

❤️ = Red

💜 = Speak Now

(some folx theorize that that last pic, the greenish one from SNL, might represent Debut. that could be, but since it was posted much later, on october 7, and it doesn't have the same lyric-quote-caption pattern as the others, i'm not going discuss it here)

the colors are related to the original cover art for those albums and taylor herself confirmed that she used this color code to represent the albums with the rooms in the Lover music video. (looking back, we can also see it in the LWYMMD video!)

the captions for these four posts are quotes of lyrics from Lover, which this Rolling Stone photo shoot/article was promoting. people took note of the word count of the captions:

💛: "It's golden, like daylight" = 4 words

💙: "It's blue, the feeling I got" = 6 words

❤️: "I once believed love would be burning red" = 8 words

💜: "Threw out our cloaks and our daggers because it's morning now" = 11 words

people theorized that the word count represents the month that the re-recorded album would be released.

💛 4 = April

💙 6 = June

❤️ 8 = August

💜 11 = November

and she DID in fact release Fearless TV in April!

therefore, i think we can confidently conclude that we will get 1989 TV in June, Red TV in August, and Speak Now TV in November.

it occurred to me that @taylorswift warned us that she'd slowly and thoughtfully release the re-records when she said, "I'm taking my time because you took everything from me." it's drawn out by design to stick it to 🛵 (and of course to maximize the success of the albums!)
