Recently, I got to join a bunch of fun Bay Area foodies for lunch at Far East Café in the heart of San Francisco’s Chinatown! Far East Café is one of Chinatown’s oldest restaurants, dating back to 1920, with beautiful vintage details like antique lanterns and Oriental paintings adorning the walls, and boasts a clientele of both locals and tourists there to chow down on yummy Cantonese cuisine. On the menu: • Yi Fun Won Ton Soup • Salt & Garlic Chicken Wings • Curry Tomato Beef Chow Mein • Fookin Fried Rice • Dried Pan Fried String Beans with basil and minced pork • Vegetable Egg Foo Young • Longan Martini • Oolang Tea It was all delicious, but my personal faves were the beans, egg foo young, and the chicken wings.😋 📍 631 Grant Ave San Francisco, CA 94108 If you’re looking for ideas of great places to eat in the Bay Area, be sure to follow: @the_happyepicurean @ahostin_sf @jennymeets.world @thehungrycurator @yayarea.foodie @katheerinnaeats @djtravels2020s And for all things Chinatown, @sfcma 📸March 25, 2023 #sanfrancisco #sanfranciscofood #sanfranciscobay #sf #howsfseessf #alwayssf #ilovesf #chinatownsf #sanfranciscolife #sanfranciscoliving #food #restaurant #restaurantsofinsta #restaurantsoftheworld #restaurantsofinstagram #sfrestaurant #sfrestaurants #foodie #foodies #foodiecollab #foodiegram #chinesefood #cantonesefood (at Far East Cafe) https://www.instagram.com/p/CqdrEwWPfQ3/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
