Viburnum Tinus. I waited 4-5 years for this plant to even show one set of blossom. Plants under a large Apple tree in dry shade I saw it struggle from 2 foot high and was expecting the worse and having to transport it to the great compost in the sky. After year 5 there was the occasional bloom but still not a success story. A cypress conifer plant next to the VT had long gone. Now after 7 years the VT is 9 for high and showing twice a year. It is probably my favourite for giving colour at full times. 70,000+ steps target reached! Not so easy during lockdown keeping up 10k steps per day. Some days an 8-9 walk achieved my daily target and by Sunday I had a 3,500 cushion so could step off the gas a bit.
