All of the recommended characters are actually apart of the mafia. Including Apple. It was a big ploy by the mafia to get one of their members in the game. Apple just got a little bit side-tracked but deep down she’s on the mafia’s side. And when the time comes she will be fighting with them.
Revolution! MIDI Pack
Game: Doom II Year: 2016 Source Port: Any (ports required for some features) Specs: MAP33 (and a new music track for every map slot) Gameplay Mods: None Author: various artists (MAP33 by Thomas van der Velden) idgames | doomwiki | onemandoom
James Paddock has become a force of nature insofar as his ability to crank out maps seems effortless but his original claim to fame was as an MIDI artist who wrote tons o’ tunes. You can tell, based on his MIDI pack for TvdV’s Harmony, that he always wanted to make soundtracks for PWADs that never had one. To this end he marshalled the Doom community for the Plutonia MIDI Pack and, for this, the TVR MIDI Pack.
This PWAD gives every single map slot its own music, some more oddly appropriate than others. My full review goes track-by-track and compares tunes against the slots they’re in and what else they might go with if you think that you can stomach someone writing about music. It also has some bonus scripting features that show you artist and track titles at the start of each level.
TVRMIDI is extra sweet, though, since it’s officially endorsed by the author. This amounts to
1) A TITLEPIC made by Thomas van der Velden 2) Story texts that cover the intermission breaks, authored by TvdV 3) A brand friggin’ new super secret level in the MAP33 slot!!!!!!
p.s. oh and also it has a custom running order for Velden’s earlier TV1998 :3
