spn 5x05 fallen idols is crazy cause it’s like. dean is treating sam like a bad kid instead of an equal and constantly belittling him and openly saying he doesn’t get a choice in what they’re doing and has been doing this for ages <3. and sam is mostly just. going along with it. because this is the condition of being with his brother, he guesses, and also he deserves it for being evil (operating the best way he could’ve from the information he was given, and also disobeying dean). and sam’s greatest idol in life is gandhi, famous pacifist, and dean’s is their abusive father. and also paris hilton is there.

Sometimes I think about how “The road to hell is paved with good intentions” is literally the written representation of Sam Winchester and it makes me so sad.

Dean and Lisa’s relationship is psychotic bc here’s her one-night stand best-sex-of-her-life likely-father-of-her-kid who she must have SO many emotions about. Like this is the person she never expected to hear from again after he altered the very course of her life and never looked back. So much anger and sadness but also fondness and unable to imagine her life without him. THEN this mans shows up NINE YEARS LATER with sad eyes and expecting a one (1) thing, then quickly pivots to chill at a birthday party with her KID whos also his kid. And then after she says he could STAY (which ????? she’s known him for what 4 collective days at this point ???) she knows nothing about how he’d be as a HUMAN let alone boyfriend of live in dad, he yeets into oblivion for another few years. THEN he comes back again, (HUNTS HER DOWN MIND YOU BC SHE MOVED HOUSES), refuses to come inside her house, and just says scary things are happening but don’t worry (bc that’s reassuring obviously since she knows him so well?). And she says 🤷‍♀️ ALSO ALSO how weird must this have been last time she saw him was PRE HELL and we know post hell dean is a different man. AND THEN AND THEN he comes back again a few weeks later dealing w extra baggage you don’t even know about and you’re like yeah sure come on and live with me. I mean I’m a dean girl as much as the next person but LISA ARE YOU OK????
