girl how do you meditate? everyone tells me to do it and im like ?????

How to meditate ?

1- WITH GUIDED MEDITATION

girl i feel you on this one cuz for like 3 years i never tried meditation i never even searched it up i thought it was a type of yoga or something. So if you meditate for the very first time do a guided meditation. Sadly i can't listen to alunir's one cuz when im sleepy her voice annoys me damn bad but reya's guided meditations are perfect and one of them helped me do my first awake shift

so yeah at first use videos and sometimes even reya's voice pisses me off its nothing against reya or alunir really im just really sensitive at noises and there is this guy doing guided meditation and they are just perfect and i love his concepts for the meditations

WITHOUT GUIDED MEDITATION

so if you really really don't want any guided meditations what i do is that i put on a subliminal (again not necessary) and start to breath really slowly like breath in for 8 seconds,hold in for 4 seconds and release for 7 seconds. And repeat many times until your relaxed,imagine yourself in a calm place i like thinking of grass in a field with like the sun flowers not too hot or cold and like just hearing birds and everything and being completely relaxed. i also like to lay on my back for awake shifts cuz i like the feeling of my body getting numb and it helps me forget about it.

anyways thats it sweeheart i wish you a nice shift and remember its all in the relaxation and detachment !
