Rhodey Headcannons
Since I have seen headcannon posts based solely on the op's preferences (no movie evidence required) for different characters, I believe Rhodey deserves one as well.
Rhodey loves sci-fi. Everyone thinks it's Tony who picks Alien and E.T. but it’s really Rhodey.
Rhodey will not eat green beans. He doesn't care how they're cooked. He doesn't care who made them (unless of course it's his mother). He doesn't like the way they squeak when he eats them.
Rhodey’s favorite color is midnight green, the color of his city's football team. Terrance raised him in midnight green as an Eagles fan, and an Eagles fan he will stay no matter who Tony tries to get him to like. (At least Tony doesn't like the Cowboys. They'd have a problem then.)
Rhodey loves flying. Whether he's flying a plane, the War Machine armor, or in the tank that Tony made him, he never feels as free as he does when he's flying.
Rhodey is more of a "get out and do stuff" person while most of the other Avengers prefer to stay indoors. He figures it may be that he doesn't have as much of a recognizable face as the others. He doesn't mind when people recognize him, though.
Rhodey teaches Lila how to hack Tony's Starkpad and program the Roombas to do the opposite of Tony's commands. She does it every other week now.
Rhodey is the biggest prankster in Avengers Tower, but no one will ever believe Tony when he says Rhodey did it
Rhodey is the leader of the Avengers because he's the only one with the experience
When Carol returns, he makes sure everyone calls her Captain. He also tells people that calling Steve Captain is insulting because Steve never earned the rank. No one knows if he's kidding or not.
Everyone knows not to interrupt Rhodey and Bruce when they're cooking together. The last person to do that almost lost an eye.
If you thought Rhodey and Bruce was scary, Rhodey and Pepper together is even more frightening
Rhodey and Happy have monthly "Roast Tony" sessions. Cursed be the person who tries to participate, especially if it's Tony himself. The only person who joined and came out unscathed was Harley.
Feel free to add on if you'd like!

Falcon and Winter Soldier episode one reaction
I’m starting to really like Bucky, I still love Sam, but above all:
RHOOOOOOOOOOODEEEEYYYYYYYYYY
is back
for a few seconds
and it was AWESOME
So: he’s still one of the big guys army-wise, misses Tony, provides counseling to flying Avengers. The best.
Also: the episode was really good. Some great Marvel action, some super interesting character moments, an intrigue being set up.
Also the French villain with the thickest Canadian accent is back. And thank you for the automatic English subtitles when the pilot supposedly spoke French as well cause that was so bad I thought it was some unknown language
All hail Rhodey - the most underrated hero in the MCU 🌻
So can I just say I love that when the Endgame cast is stripped down to the most important players we have: the original six Avengers, a couple of newer characters who are key to the time travel/defeating Thanos plot (Carol, Scott, Nebula, etc), and... Rhodey.
Dude is not just a sidekick. He's been in the game since the beginning, since Iron Man, and as War Machine he's been a superhero in his own right for nearly as long.
In other words, I'm happy that Rhodey's importance to the MCU is being validated by the narrative in such a blatant way. And as a longtime member of the Rhodey Appreciation Squad (president: Tony Stark) I'm excited to see what's in store.
Ok I’m so sick of everyone sleeping on Rhodey. He was the first to get to Tony, and he didn’t even get to say anything to him before he died. He didn’t tell his best friend goodbye because he wanted his surrogate son and wife to be able to. He looked into Tony’s eyes and knew he was going to die, but he moved out of the way so his family could share his final moments. This man has been through everything with him and he watched him die. It must have been so painful for him. Just stop sleeping on him.
