Once again, I tried in vain to write, to put my pain and sorrow into words that will mean something once I let them out, but I could not do it. For one full year now, there has been a block on my ability to write about my feelings when it comes to this day, this tragedy, this singular emptiness in the world. In the past, I often found that Florence Welch had a capacity to bundle up my thoughts and heartache into her majestic voice, and hurl it out there as a song. I discovered this song today of all days, and I believe that my discovery was not entirely accidental. I hope that hearing and experiencing all of what I feel will set you on the path toward healing.
