Practice what you preach: stop making super long posts about the fact that having super fancy and expensive stationery is unnecessary / useless but meanwhile ALL your oc is ft muji gel pens, leuchtturm bujos and tombow brush pens. SHOW people instead. Post a few non-studyblr-aesthetic pics once in a while.

Motivation < Self Discipline: yes watching successful girls like Elle Woods and Hermione Granger is slightly inspirational but lbr neither of them are going to do your work for you. Hoping for that burst of motivation all the time is useless. It's not always gonna come when you want it to. That's why you need self discipline. Even when you're feeling lazy, your self discipline will get you up and running because you are disciplined enough to know what needs to be done and when.

For the sake of your studyblr: stop rewriting your notes to look like artwork just so you can take a pretty picture of it, if it doesn't help you. Study in a way that suits you. There are tons of masterposts about techniques and strategies for different learning types. There are also tons of quizzes online to help you determine which one you are if you don't know.

What's really important: this amazing community is here to encourage you to keep learning. It's a place to find great resources; meet kind, helpful people; learn new tips and tricks for studying; etc. It is not only about aesthetics. Use your studyblr to the fullest. Ask for help, give advice, make friends!!! At the end of the day this is about your education. No amount of notes on a really cute post will magically give you an A on the history test you didn't really study for.

How much is enough: we all know how tumblr is 5 minutes actually equals about 2 hrs. some people can afford to be on tumblr 24/7 and that's great buuuuuut if you know that it's gonna distract you from your work put it aside. Enable two step verification and log out so even if you are tempted to slack off when you should be working you'll have to face that before getting back into mindlessly scrolling thru your dash nobody likes two step verification but it serves a purpose

lately i've been in a rut, completely fallen out of all my schedules because my exams are in less than a month and i told myself i needed to shift my focus over to completely studying for exams, but what happened instead was i got overwhelmed and didn't get anything done. so last night i painted my nails, this morning i'm going to write in my journal like i used to do then i'm going to do a bit of korean and hopefully, slowly ease my way back into my regular schedule and get some studying done :) wml! and have a good, productive and stress free as possible day yourself.

Hi @forinkyu​! I’m your @langblrsecretsanta​ and this is my gift to you 😊. Since you are learning Korean for your boyfriend I tried to compile some things that would help to make the season special for you two. I also included a little background about Christmas in Korea as history is another interest of yours. As a fellow Korean learner this was fun to create. I hope you enjoy it and the holidays! 

History, Traditions & Facts

Sending cards, especially to family outside of Korea, is a usual practice but general season greetings are sent and not necessarily Christmas cards.

Watching Christmas movies is a popular family activity

Gift giving is not as popular as it is in the Western World and money is a very common gift.

Since most Korean traditions are rooted in family, Christmas dinner is definitely a must. The menu consists of foods like Bulgogi , sweet potato noodles, and kimchi and ends with Christmas Cake or Korean Sweets for dessert.

Santa Kullusu or Santa Haraboji is the Korean version of Santa Claus that has gained popularity recently to entertain children and as a marketing tool. His outfit consists of blue or green traditional robes and a "gat", the historic flat topped hat worn by men during the Joseun Dynasty.

The plan is to invite everyone to the local culture center and to screen his self-made comedy movie based on his own tragic life.
