Dear Henry, so I stumbled upon this nice little site here and was wondering if you could give some information regarding this Freddy Jr's location. I tried looking stuff up online and barely found any info, I suppose the 10 month period of opening you mentioned was so short that it led to most of it being lost media.
Not a lot of people cared for Freddy Jr’s, myself included.
Freddy Jr’s Pizzeria was supposed to be our response to the incident in 1985. We ended up writing new and more complex programs to make this version of Freddy’s the safest place on earth; advanced mobility and experimental facial recognition systems. Eddie would even joke that we hardly needed daytime security.
Unfortunately, Eddie ended up becoming part of the problem. His run as FazEnt’s business manager was probably the worst years the company ever had, and the reason why so many great people quit their jobs. He’s the entire reason FazEnt as a company got a bad rap, and to this day, I’m still mad I didn’t fire him sooner.
It was because of him that Freddy Jr’s failed. He had the bright idea for the target audience to ONLY be children, but guests would complain that the shows felt “corporate and soulless”. The shows still missed the target demographic, the jokes just weren’t funny, and there was hardly any depth to the characters. They were fun to interact with, but god they were a pain to watch onstage. Heck, the actual series of animatronics was officially titled “the Junior series” by us as the mechanics, but the public would refer to them as “Toy Freddy” or “Toy Bonnie”, because they would NOT stop promoting the merchandise every five minutes.
I know why they did it, but I never liked when they were called that. These characters were NEVER called Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, because I realized when later after designing and writing them that they just weren’t. I feel that calling them so taints the perspective of the original characters from the main location. Even as their own characters, I’m still sad they were never truly explored.

This was prior to the name changes. I didn’t change them until just before the first commercial was about to be green-lit.
