WOD 1 - 34.52 mins
WOD 2 - 9.55 mins
Thrusters - 35kg. These felt ok - straight out of the gate, did 10 unbroken reps.. Then it dropped down to 3s, 4s or 5s. Finished all reps in just over 7 mins.
Assisted ring pull ups - Feet were elevated onto a chair in front of me in a L-sit position, and would try to keep my upper body as vertical as possible with every pull. They were way harder than I thought they would be! I ended up having to kip most of the reps ‘cos my arms were goooone. Biceps were burning and I had to stop after 3-4 reps to shake them out. 50 reps took bloody ages.
Handstand push ups - Haven’t done these kipped at home before! And they still felt tough lol. Could only do 3-5 reps at a time.
Power snatch - 35kg. Knowing this was the last movement of the chipper helped a lot. Reps were broken into sets of between 3-5.
Double unders - First lot was broken up 50/25/25. Last one was in sets of 20-30. Pelvic floor was starting to give way... Yep, ew. Really nice to do these outside in the sun!
1km run - First time running this one, and it was really nice to head out into the local neighbourhood. Have never been this far down the road lol, there’s a slight decline heading towards the 1km mark, so running back felt tough with the incline.

Total: 1st: 2 rounds + 5 Pull ups
2nd: 2 rounds + 3 Power Snatch
Ring Pullups: Mr recorded me after the WOD so I could see what I was doing wrong. My hips are moving too much. I also need to keep my head in line with my body. These were HARD. Broke them down into sets of 3s.
Double Unders: I cannot do DU yet. So I had to jump over my bar 24 times. Did these unbroken.
Power Snatch: I worked on keeping these unbroken. Last time I tried a 45lb weight I could not get the bar overhead. However, after the WOD I had Mr video tape me with a 45lb weight.
