I found this gem last night on the last.fm support forums.
*sigh* I’m getting tired of posting pointless complaints on the last.fm community page. No one’s listening other than the other users who agree with me.
The only good thing that’s come of it is that I learned they've actually written an article about how bad the new site is and that you can access your old profile through your Internet cache… I actually shed a tear when I pulled it up… gosh I’m such a pathetic music geek…
R.I.P.
“This is the way to kill this website, isn't it? Are you sure that making ALL the users (I'm not exaggerating) annoyed will help you in anything? We loved Last.fm. It was an important part of our every day's life. We don't really want to leave this website.”

If I ever become a teacher for Web design...
...my first lesson to my students will for sure address my experience this morning being shoved face-first into the 25% functional new last.fm site. "Now everybody, this is the worst thing you can ever do in your career as a Web designer. Don't be like last.fm."
Who else is on last.fm crying bitter tears regarding the horrible mods' lack of empathy towards their horrible design of the new site and the way our individuality is being stripped on our profiles?
who's smart idea was it to change layouts of sites that don't need layout changes anyway
"Eddie Chacon had grown up in Hayward and Castro Valley, California, where he had started his first band at age 12 with neighborhood friends Cliff Burton (Metallica) and Mike Bordin (Faith No More)."
