To extend on a divorce metaphor I just saw...
...since I haven’t regularly watched the show in years, to me it feels like my abusive ex just dropped dead and I don’t have to share custody of our darling children any longer.
As much as I came to hate that bastard, and resent him for the lies he told to make me fall in love with him, I’ll always be grateful to him for our beautiful babies. (And therefore for creating the fandom that treats them so much better than he did.)
I miss The Charmings and I miss Emma back when she was a badass and I miss Henry being a baby still growing up in the world. I miss Granny's Diner and I miss well written side characters with strong arcs and I miss Swanfire and Rumbelle and I miss the Regina and Emma dynamic constantly changing and growing.
I miss everything that was old school OUAT.
This show gets more and more ridiculous every season and it breaks my heart to watch my favorite show crumble.
i miss the days when i had a show i was completely and utterly obsessed with and i could come on twitter to see new content and interact with people about our shared obsession
Congrats to all the Hookers, you now have your very own show all about your precious Killy-kins. Every other vital character except for two left realizing how much the show turned to crap. I'm sure the CSers won't even care that the other half of they're ship left since they tied the knot. OUAT has truly been ruined, you won.
Does anyone else feel like this picture is a betrayal to Outlaw Queen? I get that Robin died, but really after all that they went through they don't deserve to be recognized? It wasn't our fault that they screwed up and killed him, losing a lot of viewers in the process. First of all they weren't even included, and second, they put down Henry and Jacinda. I'm pretty sure Henry and his motorcycle have more chemistry than him and his wife. And they wonder why the show is cancelled.
Me: Heyyyyy there ol’ buddy, ol’ pal.
OUAT: Huh? Oh. You again.
Me: Yeaaaahhh hey how ya doin’?
OUAT: Ok, I guess. I mean, I just got can-
Me: Look, I don’t want to take too much of your time. I know you’re busy and all.
OUAT: Actually, I-
Me: I just wanted to know if you were maybe possibly done with that?
OUAT: ...............Done with what?
Me: You know, um... that. *nonchalantly points at Swan Queen*
OUAT: What?
Me: Yeah, well, you know, I couldn’t help but notice you weren’t using that anymore... not really... and it’s such a pretty idea and, of course, I know you had fun playing with it, but... oh, I don’t know... since you obviously aren’t planning on using it for a while, or ever, maybe... someone... else... could... ya know... give it a shot? I mean... you don’t really have a need for that, do you??
OUAT: Well, no, I guess. We never really-
Me: GREAT! *grabs Swan Queen and runs away* Don’t worry! I promise to take really good care of them! As if they were my own! BETTER, even! K, BYEEE!
