i honestly can't wait for the duffer brothers to start releasing more projects and realize just how much of the support from their core fanbase was made up of freaks and outcasts and queer people who truly believed that show was going to tell a beautiful story that represented them in a positive way and women who couldn't wait to see the revolutionary things they were going to do with el's character arc and just longtime fans in general who were expecting the ending of a show that had shaped their childhoods to be written with love and care. and i can't wait for them to realize that, when you have a show that made as much impact and stranger things and have literally millions of people from marginalized groups who genuinley and fully trusted in people who weren't a part of those groups to represent them, and you blow it all to appease your general audience, that affects your relevance as writers.

Also didn’t bother to actually find the references of the characters so i drew them from memory again and only looked for a ref of a good trio pose.

oh yes, i did, they’re quite happy in the old haunts universe. but apparently i’m going to have to give their story more detail and focus because they butchered their happy ending in season five.

also, they were before, but they are even more so adopted by eddie and chrissy now. hellcheer get custody of mileven, kali, eden, suzie, argyle, and vicky.

I feel like I have a complicated relationship with Stranger Things.

On the one hand, I feel like it’s first season was so good, it could’ve totally just ended there.

But since this is Netflix, that was never going to happen.

I also did like a lot of the things the show did.

Like, I absolutely adore Steve after season one.

I love his relationship with Dustin.

El and Hopper were my favorite dynamic. I’m a sucker for Father/daughter arcs. The found family aspect. 

I felt like season four really did a good job with Max.

And I really, really liked Eddie.

So yeah, it’s final season screwing the pooch really fucking sucks.

Also, on a final note, following through with Byler would’ve made Mike one of the best written characters on the show, but they decided not to go that route and now we know he’s just fucking inconsistent and badly written and I feel sorry for his actor. I’m sorry, Finn, you deserved better.
