Who shares the restroom code with ICE agents? by Marc Fischer, Public Collectors, 2025
This is by the same people (mostly Marc Fischer) who brought you the following zines in our Zine Library: “Towards a Self-Sustaining Publishing Model: A ten minute lesson/rant/manifesto,” “Temporary Services: The Library Project,” “Why Aren’t People Buying Your Books and Zines at the Fair?”, “Library Excavations #5” by Dale E. Shaffer, and the ever-popular “Why Self-Publish Under Fascism?”
It’s Half Letter Press and Public Collectors. I was just poking around their website and—BOOM—I had books in my cart and wound up buying things. I don’t think zine libraries are supposed to work that way!
Okay, so this is a very darkly humorous sort of manifesto. Reading it will probably make you laugh, but you may also feel a little guilty for laughing.
Our copy appears to be different from the version currently on their site. Ours is a two-sided poster, not a zine per se.
It’s worth checking out—even if you kick yourself for finding it humorous or if you cringe at some of the possible scenarios it brings up.
Be safe out there, everybody.
