i’m not a hardcore jeronica shipper or anything, but i have to acknowledge the comedic potential of jughead becoming hiram’s son-in-law. imagine how the entire “meet-the-parents” dinner would go.

season 1 bughead: the softest couple, friends to lovers, yes they’re solving a murder on the side but they’re still soft
season 4 bughead: murder dreams, dark bughead, fantasized about killing their principal and one of their friends
Riverdale writers when it’s time for Jughead’s annual season death:
everyday, the riverdale writers wake up and choose violence
thanos: i am inevitable
cheryl blossom: i am red
okay, but how did jughead even win that fight with bret, and so quickly. literally jughead gets beat up every other episode, and you’re telling me that he lost to bret? how weak does bret have to be to lose that badly to jughead jones of all people?
currently thinking about how in riverdale, jellybean didn’t want her older brother to go away, so she decided to make video tapes recreating some of the most traumatic events in her older brother and his friends’ lives.
i will forever be salty that we didn’t get to see jughead and cheryl interacting or being friends. these two have so much comedic potential.
like, they’re both dramatic (see: ‘i’m a weirdo’ speech and basically cheryl’s entire life) and pyromaniacs (cheryl has burned her house down twice and jughead went to juvie for almost setting the school on fire and set his former home on fire).
honestly, they should’ve burned something down together.
