Two sides of RNG

The bad news: Roulx Kaard (Markiplier-voiced cat) got absolutely bodied on his run because the hunter got hit with blood frenzy at one of the first events, TPKing in the next battle because of course it was one of the ones with a bunch of flies.

The good news: Three runs later, I get a hunter with web trap+ and completely humiliate Dybbuk on my first fight against him.

The even better news: The next run I get the hunter's kitten that inherited web trap, make them a thief and to unlock the passive for beating Dybbuk. I also discover that he can't dodge rally hits, since they target the cat and not the enemy.

The best news: The run after that, I get the rally cleric's kitten, make her a mage for base 8 int to cast rally every turn, necromancer gets a stacked leech familiar build going, and hunter gets sentry mode+. The cleric's just there for moral support and occasional fleas from his cathide armor, and healing damage from previous battles since the weather event was training day and the beefy leeches decided they hated the training dummy and unleashed SO MANY KINETIC SPIKES that nuked both sides. Between rally, sentry mode+, the two beefy leeches... yeah, Dybbuk got absolutely melted. He also was stupid enough to possess my necromancer with carrion shot. We take down the necromancer and he gets the kill with carrion shot.

edit: I forgot about thou shalt not kill! Cleric was also helping melt things whenever a flea or leech got splatted!

My hands are suffering after two weeks of intense Hades II gaming, and a random autoplay of the Stardew Valley spring theme made me say, oooh, I want that, so I started a new Stardew save three days ago after a roughly year long break, without any mods because I wasn't feeling up to doing a whole updating slog. I hadn't had a male farmer in awhile, so Zagreus at Tartarus Farm it is (favorite thing is trouble), with his loyal dog Cerberus...

The RNG on this playthrough has been the craziest thing I've ever encountered. I need someone else to play with this name combination to see if I've stumbled on an Easter egg.

I got a day five Living Hat drop while clearing debris, which I've never gotten before, so Zag can have his laurels. I have never in my life had so much forage, even in previous 1.6 saves. In the mines I've gotten the club and forest sword drops which let me hit floor 40 by week two-- and immediately got a coffee bean drop so once I've got a keg we're going to be dashing everywhere. It's raining on Spring 17 and my pick is being upgraded so I went fishing... I got Neptune's Glaive and a piece of fire quartz in the treasures so I'm about to have mine carts on Spring 18, and as soon as I turned those in at the Community Center a catfish frenzy started on the town river?!

This was not a min/max run, this was 'give crampy hands a nice chill break' run! The Olympians have found Pelican Town and I'm getting all of the boons.
