Do people still use Tumblr? Am I posting into an empty void? I don't have anywhere else to post my rough sketches...

This is the second time I've picked up a "pencil" in about 2 weeks. I'm proud of myself! Anxieties over art have made it nearly impossible for me to try and do it as a career - even though deep down I'd still like to try - it's nice to art as something to relax with. A hobby.

I recently watched series 1 of "A Discovery of Witches" and absolutely loved it, so here's a sketch of Diana Bishop. Can't wait for the next two seasons!

I've decided to draw what I want when I want, and challenge myself only when I feel like it. I'm not fighting algorithms or following trends. I'm going to be unashamedly inspired by my favourite artists and not fight to be different or try to discover for myself some sort of "style". I'm going to enjoy what I do and let things happen naturally. I'm not fighting with you anymore, canvas.

Art is such a different experience now.
