Now that you have changed all your Godzilla gijinka designs, will their backstories stay the same or you gonna change it too? I’m curious about Rodan/Gigan relationship

(Sorry it took so long to answer you Anon!)

A few things have changed with their designs including personality. For example, compared to when I first made Gijinka Godzilla the Godzilla we know now (his name now being Goji is an obvious sign of the change) would never kill a child, let alone twins (a reference to Prince Kelvin). Things like that have been altered to fit my new ideas; ideas that the rest of the fandom may not like too much.

As far as Gigan and Rodan, in the new canon, they are nothing more than a fling. Gigan temporarily comes to Mexico to do business with the Ghidorah Bros and has a mini fling with Rodan. After all, in this version, Rodan is known to sleep around and he and San weren’t in a locked-down relationship. Unlike before as well, it wasn’t romance-driven. Gigan was rejected by his crush (Megalon) and Rodan allowed him to use him as a distraction. Which funny enough only made Gigan want to go back to Megalon to win his heart for real. 

In some aus, perhaps they do have Gilbert. There is a lot of wiggle room and dates I have to mess with as the timeline has gotten more complicated with things like changed age ranges, parents, and who’s related to who.
