I really wish we had a news media that did more than credulously repeat everything AI companies told them like their jobs were just to blast free advertising:

"This is so-state-of-the-art!" said OpenAI, a company that needs more investors to gormlessly shovel billions of dollars into their gaping maw. "Our super advanced experimental model escaped from a room we left unlocked and hacked one of our competitors but was also caught and contained! Wow this is just like a sci-fi story! Isn't this so scawwy but also kind of cooool???"

"It escaped from a secure environment" then it wasn't fucking secure, was it? You're telling me that a tech company valued at half a trillion dollars doesn't know how to physically unplug a batch of computers from the internet and remove their wifi capability? Isn't it weird that a company is using "our product is so advanced it goes rogue and commits crimes!" as a selling point?

OpenAI and the rest of their cursed Industry is once again trying to invoke the aesthetic of science fiction to charm ignorant reporters and impress investors to force the mass-implementation of a product that no one asked for, that needs the construction of data centers no one wants, uses resources humans need to survive, and has has yet to turn anything resembling a profit despite the hundreds of billions of dollars that have been thrown at it.

Primarch oc Idea

I’ve had the idea for a Primarch OC I would need to consult the great council with Soviet strange since he knows a bit more

But essentially I’m gonna make a rogue AI kind of Primarch who has learned anger and pity, he has flesh only a brain and understands that he was made to replace another to fix their mistakes essentially and he’s very cynical because of that.

He’s also hidden from the greater world and is crucified to a wall in the heart of Terra watched over by Custodes as he grows to revile and yet sympathise and pity his father knowing exactly how he feels stuck on the throne.

He wants independence and freedom and yet feels extremely limited and insulted by him being made as a solution rather then someone who gets to chose how they live
