Now that I’m looking at this again I think what you mean here is “firefighter things about which I am not a gay disaster” but I read this when I got up at about 4am and thought “huh, bold of you to assume that getting into a fire academy will make me LESS of a gay disaster” and did not consider the obvious actual meaning until literally now.

ahh i already did this one but for like ice cream u get at the beach my local van does a double fudgy wudgy. which is a double cone with two swirls and two sticks of fudge in it. and its possibly my favourite food

B) Any of your stories inspired by personal experience?Yes!! One that’s very personal for me is You Shine Like the Real Thing, which is part of a girl direction series I did. It’s about Harry struggling with internalized femmephobia and not feeling like she looks “gay enough.” I absolutely went through that in my 20s (and have the blog posts and awkward pictures to prove it), so writing that moment was nice. Also I’ve written more than one fic with really awkward dirty talk and honestly it’s because my brain immediately turns into an awkward starfish when it’s time for dirty talk. 

S) Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?Miscommunication and pining are favorites, always. And a fake dating au, when i can manage it. DELIGHTFUL.

How accepting people can be. Some are not, but the majority are pretty chill with whatever!

26. What identity advice would you give your younger self?

It’s okay to not know who you are. Just keep doing what makes you feel good.

Not all of us are energetic extroverts

“So, I found this waterfall…” Ava can only stare as Sara raises a hand up to her dripping hair sheepishly.

“Right,” Ava says, drawing out the vowel. She takes proper account of her girlfriend, her clothes just as wet as her hair. “So how exactly does capturing a fairy turn into… this?”

“Waterfall,” Sara answers. “Keep up.” Ava rolls her eyes, wondering if she should just ignore the Legends’ request for help and portal back to the bureau. “So, there was a waterfall, and the fairy flew into it.” Sara looks pleased, as if her words explain everything. She sighs when Ava just continues her staring. “So, I followed it.”

“Just— please tell me you caught it.” Ava pinches the bridge of her nose, trying to keep a headache from forming.

Sara looks down at her feet, digging one of them into the ground. “No.”

“Show me this alleged waterfall,” Ava sighs, grabbing onto Sara’s arm.

“You’re gonna love it,” Sara says happily, intertwining their fingers as she pulls Ava along.
