since i’m planning on being more active on here (lol) i compiled a list of allllll my anime husbandos in chronological order ;) hoping it connects me with even more wonderful peeps, and opens the proverbial door for more fic requests/opportunities!
just a note: i was a child/minor for some of these animes, specifically the ones that take place at high schools, so, yeah.
these are listed in the order i watched the anime :p
here we go!
Kakashi Hatake - Naruto & Naruto Shippuden
oh, kakashi, my first love. naruto was the first anime i watched that wasn't pokemon. i started watching when i was around 11, and i didn't finish until i was out of college when it ended in 2017. i know kakashi is a fan-favorite, so i don't need to explain myself much here. needless to say, kakashi's anbu arc was my favorite in naruto he's just so nnnnnnnngggg~

2. Kyoya Ootori - Ouran High School Host Club
another anime i watched in middle school, and i honestly loved kyoya from ep 1 (you'll see i generally have a type hehe) to be fair, he was the stereotypical black hair, glasses, cool guy but my 12 year-old self was all over that. episode 24 in the anime was my favorite because we really got to see into kyoya's past and family life! WE LOVE U MOMMY DEAR
honorable mention for hikaru hitachiin (i liked him more than kaoru bc he was snarkier hahaha)
-i also couldn't find very many gifs of JUST hikaru, so this gif is sized weird and it's bothering me
3. Levi Ackerman - Attack on Titan
feat my favorite shot of levi... phewwwwww. i started watching aot when i was a freshman in high school, so around 14 years old. i was already hooked on the story, but when levi entered the chat it was curtains for me. this is another one i don't have to explain, he's just... levi~ and we fucking love the shit out of him for that.
i surprisingly have no honorable mentions for this show, levi's it for me sorry
4. Gray Fullbuster - Fairy Tail
yeah babes i was obsessed with gray for a while. 😳 he was too cool for school, man. and not to mention, the random stripping? HELLO
5. Franken Stein - Soul Eater
this man was my undoing when i first watched soul eater. good god. not much else to say about that. though, i definitely wanted him to dissect me and experiment on me ohohoho
6. Rokuro Bundo - Deadman Wonderland
like i mentioned, i'm a whore for the black-haired anime guys... i can't really explain this one, i just thought he was pretty is all... dude was in like 3 episodes of this show and i still found a way to simp SO HARD for him. even though he was also fucking mentally insane and the neck cracking had me in SHAMBLES for some reason...
s/n: this show was awesome imo and i wish it was given another season. :(
7. Izaya Orihara - Durarara!!
grrrrrrrrr, this mf right here i stg. DRRR is one of my favorite animes of all time. i know a chaotic storyline with a million different characters isn't everyone's cup of tea, but i personally love it. to me, there isn't another show quite like this one. and this character... woo-wee... to say i was DOWN BAD for this man is an obscene understatement. he's so evil and toxic... and i love it.

8. Rin Matsuoka - Free! Iwatobi Swim Club
precious shark boy!! i was fresh out of high school when i watched this anime, and i was immediately drawn to rin. at first, he comes off as super cold and cagey. but throughout, you learn that he's just a sad sensitive boy who just wants to make his daddy in the clouds proud. 🥲 he is so uwu and i will always love his character so much!!

8. Yuu Nishinoya - Haikyuu!!
ok this anime in general had me in a god damn CHOKEHOLD when it came out. i'm usually a dub watcher (i know, boo) but i watched this anime subbed and then when the dub came out i literally could not watch it bc i was so accustomed to the japanese VAs. i actually used to have a haikyuu blog back in the day, but it has since been lost in the void of the internet. 😞 there were many characters i fell in love with in this show but noya was my favorite because he was such a fun character to watch. plus, i thought his hair was really cool LOL.

9. Hideyoshi Nagachika - Tokyo Ghoul
HNNNNN i love this sunshine boy with everything in me. tokyo ghoul is my favorite anime to date. i've read the entire manga series and watched the show about 9283759 times. hide, sweet sweet boy, he is so precious to me. c: i love how he brings a sort of comic relief to this very dark and intense series. but at the same time, the guy is so fucking smart and intuitive. ugh, and he's just such a little sweetie pie. he's perfect.

10. Yato - Noragami
yato is such a cutie, ain't he? i had a brief hyperfixation on noragami when i watched it for the second time because i was showing it to my little brother. having to explain everything to him while we were watching made me get into it even more than i was previously. i love yato for many reasons. he provides A LOT of comedy for the show, but he's also got a pretty complicated past with a straightforward goal in mind. he is silly and goofy, yes, but he steps tf up when it's time to do so.
11. Hanzo Urushihara (Lucifer) - The Devil is a Part-Timer!
he was just so cute and relatable to me lmaoooo he tried to be the villain so badddddd but poor bby really just wanted to be a neet deep down.
honorable mentions to Sadao Maou (the literal devil) and Shirou Ashiya (his house husband)
...and i think that's it! i haven't watched any current animes, so i need to get on that... hehe. there are so many i want to watch and i sometimes get overwhelmed with that. but i think i'm gonna start jjk soon bc i know how much people love it.
