It’s extremely important to me that Rebecca confesses to Ted after Rupert comes to see her.
He drops the Bex pregnancy bomb and twists the knife as much as he can and gives Rebecca even more reason to sabotage the team, but her immediate response is to run from revenge and to healing. She doesn’t double down. She doesn’t go full scorched earth. She stops being a floppy cock and goes to clean up her mess.
Rupert chooses cruelty and Rebecca chooses honesty. (Can I say repentance here or will people be icky about that?)
And Ted, because he’s Ted, chooses radical forgiveness and compassion.
